There were eight principal tribes of Woodland First Nations, all of whom spoke languages belonging to the Algonkian family. Anders Colsefini originally formed Slipknot, but in 1997 it was decided that Corey Taylor would share lead vocals. Then the band decided that Corey Taylor should take on full role of lead vocalist, leaving Colsefini as a back up vocalist. This then perturbed Colsefini casuing him to leave the band.

The actual that message Slipknot is getting to is the truth of what modern teens go through living in the suburbs today. But i believe that subliminal message is that Corey and the other 8 are trying to get through is that their band has gone through a lot, and they "wont forget that"
