Slipknot is not a satanic band. This is a stereotype most likely brought about by their masks and some of the album artwork and symbology, as well as the ever present labelling of heavy metal being satanic.

An example of the above was when someone tried to claim that the 9 pointed star on their albums and discs was satanic, despite the fact that it simply represents "the nine", the nine members. Stars in general, pentagrams especially are drastically misunderstood as being satanic even though they appear in many world religions including Christianity.

They're taking a break. Paul Grey's death really hit them hard. They'll come back.

No, they have not gotten a new bassist yet. They are thinking about quitting the band actually. They don't think that they can go on without Paul there. He was like a brother to them and they were devastated when he died. Corey is also busy working with Stone Sour. So, no they have not gotten a new bassist.

Joey Jordison often uses the phrase 'maggot' to call his band mates the word was then used by Slipknot's fans as a way of referring to each other. It basically means that the fans feed off there music. It's not a demeaning label like most people think it is.

Yes Violent J was quoted off the Howerd Stern show saying he is a big fan of Slipknot and Mushroom head and slipknot has said many times they are fans of Insane Clown Posse though they are not juggalos but they are fans

Personally , I think Corey Taylor (number 8) is the best member of Slipknot . I just think he's awesome and a great singer .

Anders Colsefini was the first singer in Slipknot, but he got fired because he wasn't good enough. Anders Colsefini is in the first (demo)album "Mate Feed Kill Repeat". So came Corey Taylor, and he is still the singer.
