Why aren't snails and slugs often seen eating plants?
They don't get eaten as much because sea slugs are toxic and are dangerous to eat while snails, on the other hand, are not.
The sea slugs eat the stinging anemones. The sea slugs even eat the stinger! However, instead of digesting the stinger, it goes into their cerata, which are finger- like parts on their back that help with digestion, breathing, and defense. When an organism chews on the sea slug, they use the stingers as weapons.
What are some animals that reproduce without a mate?
Animals that reproduce without a mate produce by means of parthenogenesis. It was once believed that only plants could reproduce this way, but now it is known that some sea animals are capable of parthenogenesis.

How do you get rid of slugs in your flower garden?
I know it works for snails....... put a little beer in the bottom of a container and place in your garden, depending on what typr of container, arrange it so the snail/slug can get in. They will crawl in and then drown in the beer. Doesn't matter what sort of beer
I hav 2 snails. 1 with a gold shell and a yellow body that i named after my bff, Molly.

maybe after a friend?
A sea snail is exactly like a snail but they live in the sea and feed on different prey. Sea snails have one big foot, the slimy thing on the bottom, thst helps them to stick on stuff and slide along.
Sea snails eat algae, fish food flakes(yes it is really kul), pellets and sometimes even rice(only some species but I advise u not to feed them rice some species can't take it and they die).
Watch out for their eggs!! They can breed very quickly and my advice is to kill some but keep sum.
(Sry i went a bit off topic).

How are Bivalves different from other mollusks?
Some bivalves are epifaunal: that is, they attach themselves to surfaces in the water, by means of a byssus or organic cementation. Others are infaunal: they bury themselves in sand or other sediments. These forms typically have a strong digging foot. Some bivalves can swim.
Chitons creep along slowly on their muscular feet and cling to rocks.
Most snails move by gliding along on their muscular foot, which is lubricated with mucus. This motion is powered by succeeding waves of muscular contraction which move down the undersurface of the foot. They produce mucus in order to aid locomotion by reducing friction, and the mucus also helps reduces the snail's risk of mechanical injury from sharp objects.
Snails are not endangered. There are millions and millions of them. I even have them in my own backyard. and you can have one for a pet if you wanted to. You could have a lot in your backyard if you have moist plants, dirt, mushrooms, and maybe fruits.

What type of skeleton do mollusks have?
Endoskeleton
From wikipedia
An endoskeleton is an internal support structure of an animal, composed of mineralized tissue. Endoskeleton develops within the skin or in the deeper body tissues. The vertebrate is basically an endoskeleton made up of two types of tissues (bone and cartilage). During early embryonic development the endoskeleton is composed of notochord and cartilage. The notochord in most vertebrates is replaced by vertebral column and cartilage is replaced by bone in most adults. In three phyla and one subclass of animals, endoskeletons of various complexity are found: Chordata, Echinodermata, Porifera, and Coleoidea. An endoskeleton may function purely for support (as in the case of sponges), but often serves as an attachment site for muscle and a mechanism for transmitting muscular forces. A true endoskeleton is derived from mesodermal tissue. Such a skeleton is present in echinoderms and chordates.
For a giant African land snail it is 5-12 inches (WOW)

How will a snail respond when you touch the eye?
If you touch a snails eye (and the snail is not dead) it will quickly pull back into the shell. Actually, good luck touching it, it probably will duck in before you would make contact. Like a human, it doesnt want people poking it in the eye. How would you like it?
Slugs are slimy on the outside to facilitate gas exchange so they can breath. Slugs are slimy on the bottom because the slime allows them to move.
