Sadly, yes it did. They had a great 10 seasons with the best couples (Chloe & Olliver, Lois & Clark). This is what happened on the last episode:

Lois and Clark are about to get married but Oliver is possesed by darkness and tries to give Clark Gold Kryptonite. Chloe notices it and gets everybody out of the church before people are hurt. Then everybody notices a fire planet heading torward earth that will wipe out the population. Lois tries to get the government to not send out a missle that will destroy a third of the planet because she thinks that Clark will be able to save everyone. Thank the Lord..He does with his strength and our beautiful planet is saved. At the end you see Chloe reading a comic (about superman/clark and his life that the series was about) to her adorable son that gladly looks just like oliver! While she leaves the room, their son looks at a gathering of arrows and a bow (i guess this lets everybody know that he will one day follow in his fathers footsteps) and chloe gets a phone call from Lois saying that she got a blue bow. It then shifts over to Lois and Clark who are at the daily planet and bump into each other. They talk about not being late and then you hear people yelling about an accident that's happening and Clark tells Lois to tell the ministor that he will be a little late. You then see him running on the rooftop of the daily planet and he pulls his shirt and you see the Superman symbol. You then realize that he is wearing the amazing tights and cape and he has fulfilled his destiny. He...is Superman! I hope this helped.

As of March 2008, there is STILL no confirmation of when E4 will be airing Season 7... Best guess would be sometime between now and summer 08, but seen as E4 seem to have no regard for the Smallville franchise (they are currently running Big Brother USA instead of Smallville!), who knows when we'll see it... Season 8 has just been commissioned in the US, so we'll be 2 season behind before too long...

The whole point of smallville is to tell the story of Clark's teen years, before he was "Superman". I would suppose that they would have to end the franchise upon him "Becoming" Superman from the Red Blue Blur.

Tom Welling was 24 when Smallville first aired. He was born April 26th, 1977 and Smallville came on in 2001.

Obviously, if you have ever watched Smallville, then you would know it is based on the early years of Batman. It describes his back story from when his parents got shot. The series follows the adventures of Bruce Wayne, who resides in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, with his foster parents during the years before he becomes Batman. The first four seasons focused on Wayne and his friends' high school years. Since season five, the show has ventured into more adult settings, eventually focusing on his career as a millionaire, as well as introducing other DC comic book superheroes and villains. (The show was originally going to be about Superman, but the idea never really worked).

Kristin Kreuk left Smallville for a couple of reasons. She wasn't interested in doing the show anymore and she wanted to do her own stuff.

umm lets start from the beginning ok...clark got out of the phantom zone and a few phantoms escaped with him, so he spends alot of time sending them back...lex is taken over by zod... lex marries lana who pretends to kill herself and escapes to hong kong...cloe is going out with jimmy olsen... and Martha kent leaves for Washington to become the u.s. senator... i think that's it if i think of anything else ill tell you

they will not get together although it has been said that an episode regarding earlier years explaining the sexual tension is to be produced but the producers have stated that clark and Lois will be getting closer as to make the story truer to the comics and original show

There are different supergirls. Kara grew up on Krypton and was sent at the same time as baby Kal El. But her ship did not reach Earth until Kal El (Clark Kent) was an adult. She takes the name Linda Lee and is adopted in Midvale by the Danvers. There is another version where she is created by Lex Luther and goes to live with the Kents in Smallville.

But they did find a baby, kept it as their own until they found out he was dying and needed a living donor but in the end both his father and mother die... so clark and lana take him in as their own as he call them mom and dad it makes it harder for them to let go because in the end he dies because of all the energy building up inside of him. that is why he ages so fast!

The average nowadays is Smallville will have 22 episodes however there are some exceptions such as the 1st season only had 21 episodes, the 2nd season had 23 episodes and the 7th season had 20 episodes.

Currently Clark Kent is dating Lois Lane Although in the season 9 finale they went on a ``break`` only for Lois to tell Clark that she would stay with him in Metropolis after recting promising journalism oppertunity which reuqired her to leave metropolis for 6 months. Later Clark saves her life from Zod and kisses her which reveals his powers to her confirming her suspicions hes the mysterious superhero "the blur" so we all assume that now that they are back together.

Chloe finds out about Clark's powers in the Season 4 episode that is titled "Pariah" however she finds out about his alien background in the Season 5 premiere episode that is titled "Arrival."

Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster decided to make that his first name because of the actor Clark Gable. Jonathan and Martha agreed on that to be his first name after they found and adopted him because that was his adoptive mother's middle name.
