What do you mean by does it count? If it is a run rule complete game and the pitcher struck out 15 batters then yes it is a complete perfect game. If the pitcher simple didn't allow a base hit in same situation then it's not a perfect game it would be a no hitter.

No. Girls play this sport, but guys do too. It's a sport for older men like ages 40-50. Usually local sports clubs (like the YMCA) have men's softball teams. Whenever people think of softball, they think of girls. But it's really not! Hope this helps! L8ter! Lol! ;)

a walk is when you get 4 balls (when the ball is thrown to high or to low and the batter doesn't swing at it, it is a ball) and get to go to at least 1st base, you can steal the other bases.(just because it's called a 'walk' doesn't mean you get to walk, still run)

Slowpitch Softball is played using a high-arc pitching technique where the ball slowly falls into the strike-zone. Slowpitch speeds range from 25mph-35mph.

Fastpitch Softball a windmill pitching technique is used that increases that speed of the pitch significantly and allows the pitcher to throw different kinds of pitches like drop, rise, curve, screw, and change. Fastpitch speed range from usually 50mph-65mph.

The rules are basically the same, minus some variations in batting. In slow pitch if you foul off the third strike you are out. In fastpitch the strike is not called until you swing with no contact with the ball.

Both require different equipment. EX:A fastpitch bat is different from a slowpitch bat.

There are a total of 9 positions for softball. You have your catcher who is behing home plate, the pitcher, 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base, shortstop ; who is in between 2nd and 3rd, then you have right field ; behind first base, center field ; behind 2nd base and left field behind 3rd base.

Softballs are yellow so that the players can easily see them. On cloudy days, a white ball is not easily seen, and this can cause injuries to players. It also makes it easier to locate balls in longer grass.

Also when it's dark out, some minor leagues play late at night and since they are minor leagues they share fields sometimes, so sometimes another team's game would be running late, so the other team would have to warm up where there aren't any lights.

because guys like to watch other guys play and guys think its more interesting to watch a males game than a girls game...... maybe they think because theres more action?

Also, baseball has been around longer than softball and there was major league baseball for 15 years or so before softball was invented.

1) throw against a wall

2) throw through a tire hanging by a rope from a tree

I'm sure there are other ways. Use your imagination.

durahide softballs are usually/ should be less expensive and are often used in games for this reason. leather softballs are a lot better for pitching.
