There's actually a couple, Sonic Underground, Sonic SatAM and Sonic X and Sonic Ova, (Sonic Ova wasn't really a tv show, but it was a movie.)

In the Final Story, Mephiles kills Sonic by impaling him with an attack that resembles a spear. This in turn causes Princess Elise to be consumed with so much despair that she cried out, releasing the Flames of Disaster which were once sealed within her.

Mephiles absorbed Iblis and became Solaris, a super-dimensional being, once again. All the characters that had a place in the storyline, aside from Blaze, who was transported to another dimension after attempting to seal the future flames within her, were transported to "The End of the World"

The characters then discuss what has happened and discovered that the space-time rift had been ripped and was spreading, and would destroy literally everything. Silver exclaims that he will defeat Solaris, but is stopped by Shadow, who says that it may have been possible, had Sonic lived.

Elise feels a wind brush by, thinking that it is Sonic, she tells everyone and they devise a plan to gather the Chaos Emeralds from each corner of the "End of the World" and use their power to resurrect Sonic. The plan works and Sonic is revived in his Super form.

Super Sonic, Shadow and Silver, go to defeat Solaris once and for all. In the end, Princess Elise and Sonic travel back to the past, before the incidents of 10 years ago. They discover the flame of Solaris, and after some pep talking from Sonic, Elise blows out the flame erasing all the events that occurred in the game.

The game ends with a scene similar to the beginning but with noticeable changes. Sonic runs past Elise on her boat and she is surprised at the familiarity of the feeling. She is questioned by one of the women near her as she had fallen silent. Elise replies that it was nothing and continues to acknowledge her people.

The scene ends with Sonic looking at the moon and a feather from one of Elise's hairclips flowing in the breeze.
