The amount of planets in spore is somewhere around 2000. But these planets are different than you friends' planets. And the planets will evolve over time, say: You place a creature on a planet, and one week later you visit the planet and you'll see that he has started colonies etc. etc. And all the textures and everything on the planets in the beginning are randomly made, so there'll be something different VERYWHERE!

hey dude(ette) im pretty sure your supposed to befriend of kill all skuzzy's after they reproduce. this might take FOREVER to do, like getting all the fyristook parts. a good piece of advice would be;put on all of the parts of that creature that you have. so yeah... i dont have it either. good luck to the both of us!!

There is no water stage as such, as the creators cut it from the game. however, cell stage would probably be the closest thing to it, and there is water in all the other stages.

Does spore ever end once you're in the space stage?
Spore is a tremendously open-ended game; the only ending (ultimate goal) in Spore is to reach the Space Stage and enter the center of the galaxy.
Even if this is done, once can still complete missions, badges, achievements, arbitrary personal goals, etc as well as re-playing previous stages with different styles of play.
Not to mention the nearly infinite amount of time that can be spent in the Creators
They attack you so you don't get to the staff of life in the center of the Spore Galaxy. Zac-Trust me the staff of life is completely worth going through the grox defence web!
