for the most part you should be able to get your address book transferred from you AT&T powered phone to your Sprint powered phone by simply visiting a corporate Sprint phone. Address book entries are easy to transfer using a cellbrite machine which most communication stores have.

It is very hard to unlock sprint phones for another network , but I ran across this company called Ting. You can actually bring your sprint phone over to there phone service without having to change anything. You can do this temp or long term because its no contract. I am not a heavy user on my sprint phone I have the galaxy S4. So this company is good if you are just tried of your phone sitting there. Yes you can they both are cdma. Some people have less knowledge then they say they do but anyway.... Boost virgin and Sprint are all running cdma. But I have actually activated a sprint phone to virgin mobile for a friend of mine. Everything worked right after activating which actually suprised me but I still had to flash virgin mobile firmware on it which makes it a virgin mobile phone. I think they need to ask questions before they let people tell you something that's just a down right wrong answer. With flashing and odin and mobile odin and a just a lunix emulator you can do a lot.
