No they don't expire the only exception is the old pound, shilling and pence (£sd) values which have no postal validity now. You can use decimal currency stamps of any age as long as the postage is correct for the class of mail you used.

The value is negligible. The gold is only a layer an atom or two thick on aluminum. There is little extra value to these replicas and stamp collectors typically do not want them in their collections. You could probably sell it for about $50 through an online auction.

These are valued at 20 cents used, the minimum amount required to catalog and stock the stamps. Unused will always be worth at least their face value, so they are worth at least $23. Scott number 3749 and 3749A are the 1 cent Tiffany Lamp Stamps. They are labeled with the letter F. All the variations, both mint and used, can be purchased for ten cents.

In the US a second ounce is 17 cents as is each additional ounce. There may also be a surcharge if the envelope is not a standard size. Flats and unusual thicknesses are also charged differently.

There are a number of catalogs available on line. However, most of them require a subscription for full access. Mystic Stamp company has a nicely illustrated catalog of US stamps on their web site.

You can buy one for 20 cents used and 60 cents in unused condition. Which means a dealer probably won't buy one from you.

i've been researching them. some are woeth 4 to 5 $, while rare one's go for 25 to 100$

A 1934 Deutsches Reich 5 reichsmark in good shape with a D mint mark is worth anywhere from $17 to about $50. A coin with an E mint is worth about $17 to $70 depending on its condition.

You will need to consult the catalogs. First of all, you have to identify the specific stamp or card. That in itself can be a daunting task, but most of the catalogs are well illustrated with lots of information. Once you know what item you have, the catalog will provide a set of prices that can be used to estimate value.

Almost nothing. These replicas have a layer of gold on the foil that is an atom or two thick. It is not really measurable and it would take thousands of them to make an amount worth anything. You might be able to get a $1 or two.

Scott US#866

This stamp was first issued in 1940 as part of the Famous American Poets series. It can be purchased online from a dealer for 15 cents used and 50 cents mint. The nominal price indicates that it is of little value and a dealer is not want to purchase one copy. It is worth more as part of the set of 5 poet stamps.

The best way is to consult the USPS web site. They list all of the stamps issued without a value. These stamps can still be used for postage at that value, so other stamps have to be added. They can only be used for US addresses.

There are various ways to stamp Platinum. PT, Platinum, Plat. Depending on the purity of the platinum the stamp can also vary. PT950, PT850, PT900. PT950 means that 950 out of 1,000 particles of the metal is platinum.

A first class stamp in 1951 was 3 cents. A postcard cost a penny. It went up to 4 cents in August of 1958.

That would be Scott number US 984. You can buy a mint copy for 45 cents and a used copy for 20 cents.

Yes. All small values 1,2,3,4 and 5 cents are readily available at the Post Office. I am not sure about random values like 11 or 24, but you can put multiple lower denomination stamps if needed.

This is a common US commemorative stamp.

If you want to buy just one it will probably cost you from 10 to 25 cents at a stamp store for a used one--

Unused, about the same.

If you want to order it by mail, you would have to pay postage and handling in addition.

Dealers get them as part of larger lots for almost nothing per stamp- say 65% face if mint and

1/2 cent if used.

It is the kind of stamp I use on letters if unused or give to kids if used.
