there are many ways. one way that is easy is a turbo or super charger. also you can put higher compression pistons, get a bigger cam, hooker headers, tuned exhuast, bigger carb/fuel injection imports. etc

While I do not KNOW specifically where this is on a Grand Vitara, there are 'rules' for OBD-II (onboard diagnostics, version 2), that have been required for cars sold in America since around 1996. (Before then was OBD-I with more non-standard configurations.)

ODB-II designs specify that EITHER of these two configurations are used for the connector:

1. The connector be located underneath the area of the steering wheel column...so look around under the dash on the driver's side to see if the connector is there. (It may have a rubber or plastic cover over it protecting the pins.)

2. If the connector is NOT installed under the area of the steering wheel column, A LABEL MUST BE PUT IN THAT GENERAL AREA SPECIFYING WHERE THE OBD-II CONNECTOR HAS BEEN INSTALLED.

So look around under the dash in the vicinity of the Steering wheel. There SHOULD either be the connector, or a label saying where the connector actually is.

2008 GXSR 1000 takes 3.2 quarts of oil, this includes the oil used to fill the filter before installing.

To flush the oil, you need to open a the nut which is located right under the engine...its a a little big nut with a metal washer. And when your done close the nut but not too hard because you can strip the threads....then you put the oil from the oil cap which is on top of the engine... Don't forget to change the filter too!! its probably black or white the color of it..

The complaint is that whenever the car is idle for atleast 2 days,the battery is get down and the car will not start..When it appeared 01 month before,your service cente at Ernakulam-Elamakkara(Cochin Kerala), put the battery under observation and they refused to change the battery claiming that they have cleaned the defective cell area of cells in the battery.Still the defect has appeared again on 24.03.2012.The car is not get started nor the power window is working.I wish to draw your kind attention that the entire mechanism in the car especially..powerwindow,CD player,central lock..etc were all done thru maruthy only.No 3rd party fittings can be seen in the car.In spite of having putting the trust on Maruthy,i belive that i have been totally cheated by Maruthy.Please note at my neighbour hood SPARK is lying idle for last 3 months without any HICCUPS.
