Ellen DeGeneres supports a variety of causes through her charitable resources. She has supported 1 warm kid in partnership with Aeropostale. For every coat donated Aeropostale donated one also. Ellen and other celebrities provided signed coats that could be won by donors. Many schools participated and collected over 14,000.00 coats.

Additionally Ellen supports anti-bullying organizations and has done quite a lot to raise awareness about the seriousness of bullying in schools. Her charitable work in this area focuses on improving the quality of daily life primarily for teenagers.

She is very focused on ending hunger in the United States. She and Ben Affleck have launched an innovative and very effective campaign that supports America's Second Harvest. The program is the first of its kind and is called Small Change.
