The proper way to pronounce the dao of Daoism (daojiao, 道教) is with a hard "d" followed by a rapidly falling tone on the ao. This most likely sounded like a "t" to the European creators of the outdated Wade-Giles system of romanization that is still used in some quarters.

Toads have large ammounts of chi due to the fact that they breathe through their skin. Therefore, the "Yang" is continuously flowing in and out of the body while the "Yin" is circulates inside the body. This can generate a whirlpool effect that generates enormous amounts of chi. Toad kung fu was based on this principal. You circulate yin and yang throughout the body, and channel this enormous power into your legs, and propel yourself forward, backwards, or any way you wish.

1) Assume that it is possible to attain the body of light, and keep trying your best. 2) A powerful meditation which you can do at any stage of your path is to imagine you have already attained the body of light, and then concentrate on the feeling. 3) Try to find a qualified meditation teacher who teaches the attainment you seek, and practice his or her instructions. 4) If you can't find a qualified teacher, try to find books which help you to identify the nature and position of the body of light, and meditate on these instructions. Also, practice meditation instructions that enable you to loosen false identification with other objects.

Taoism is all about Man's relationship with nature, while Confucianism is concerned with Man's relationship with his fellow man.

Also, Taoism is polytheistic while Confucianism is monotheistic.
