What kind of venom does a rose haired tarantula use?
The venom of the "rose haired tarantula" is pretty interesting stuff. It has components that affect the biochemical "channels" that regulate the way the body uses signal chemicals that are put out by some cells and are taken up by other cells whose activity then changes accordingly. So the venom works by either telling needed chemical signal flows to shut off, or to tell chemical signal flows to open full throttle. Prey animals die because the spider venom makes their internal control systems break down.
What the spider uses for destructive processes can be pretty interesting to people in medical science who would like to be able to control how human bodies act when they are sick. The venom of Grammostola rosea is interesting to these researchers because they think they are possibly going to be able to use one component of its venom to treat heart disease. (It would be nice to be able to give a patient a chemical "tune-up" for restoring the behavior of a sick or injured heart to something nearer its normal way of operation. G. rosea venom may supply the needed chemical compound.)
Is it normal for a Chilean Rose to molt?
Yes, it is normal for a Chilean Rose tarantula to molt. In order to grow larger, tarantulas must molt. They shed their entire skin as well as the linings of their mouth, respiratory organs, stomach and sexual organs. When they begin to molt, they lay on their backs with their legs up in the air looking as if they are dead. Don't disturb it. They molt by splitting the exoskeleton and then working the rest of the body and finally the legs out. Adult tarantulas usually complete a molt within several hours and they molt about once a year. Some older females will skip molts. Remember that excessive dryness can kill tarantulas, especially when they molt. For any tarantula, a water dish is a good safeguard. Also, tarantulas will stop feeding for a while, maybe even weeks, when preparing to molt and food must be removed to prevent harm to the tarantula.

What is one disadvantage of book lungs for a tarantula?
Book lungs have a few serious disadvantages. One is that their open eing are on the underside of the tarantula, so if they submerge their underside an a liquid, they can die. Also, when a tarantula runs, it tightens muscles around the book lungs so that while a tarantula runs, it must hold its breath. That's why they only sprint :)

Why does a tarantula have tiny hairs on the back of its abdomen?
They are a defence mechanism. If agitated enough, the spider will dislodge some of the hairs with its legs, and 'flick' them towards an aggressor. The hairs cause irritation and, if aimed at the eyes, can cause temporary or even permanent blindness !

Can a Chilean Rose tarantula molt if it is on its front?
Yes they can but they will try to turn over.
wild tarantulas, when cold will generally slow down and stay at home, although they still eat. pet tarantulas are usually kept in warm rooms or heated environments, therefore do not slow down, and still eat. although most tarantulas go through periods where they just don't feel like eating. i have a Mexican redknee who ate probably 6 crickets in one year, and now eats that a fortnight at least. likewise i have a Chile rose who when i first got her (from a pet shop, and i swear they either NEVER fed her, or they had got her mail order from abroad) decided to eat two whole boxes of crickets in a week and now only eats a couple of crickets a week. some people only feed them once a month though, which is aparrentley ok. hope that answers your question
Well you may have to kill it, take out its insiders such as heart, lungs and stomach, cook it, put it on a plate with any other food such as veg and enjoy.
Do tarantulas grow there legs?

Does Australia have any tarantula spiders?
Yes. Australia does have tarantulas. They are also commonly known as Whistling spiders, Barking spiders and Bird-eating spiders.
The tarantulas of Australia belong to four genera:
They are all in the family Theraphosidae.
Yes they do. Although they don't spin a 'classic' web, they do trail silk as they walk so they can always find their way. Tarantulas that occupy burrows also lay 'trip lines' of silk outside so they know when potential prey is approaching.
