You may be able to have a pot bellied pig if the town considers them to be a pet as opposed to livestock. Any other breed of standard sized pig and the answer is no.
Norma sized pigs can transmit many diseases to humans and, while domesticated, an adult pig is quite large can be extremely dangerous.
The San Antonio humane or animal control organizations can tell you if pot bellied pigs are acceptable.
If you are outside of town you can contact the zoning department to determine if your area is zoned for pigs. Even an area outside of town limits can be zoned Agricultural and not allow pigs.
