I actually thought Phantom hourglass was one of the better Zeldas lately. I'd say it was better than spirit tracks, but spirit tracks isn't bad either

People say that the two aren't much. The fact that zelda's soul can go into the body of the phantom reminds people of alphonse being in the suit of armor. Also, the stories are both technically about people trying to get a family member, or friend's body back.

It depends where you are. If you are in the Tower of Spirits, have Zelda posses a Phantom and walk over the spikes so she can hit the purple orb that deactivates the spikes. However, if you are in one of the temples, search for a purple orb I just mentioned above.
