Well, Ariel was 16 during the movie, so it would only make sense that her sisters are older than the next by about a year, since they are all pretty young. So I would guess late teens or early 20's.

Ursula's sister's name is Morgana.

Sebastian was the name of Ariel's red Jamaican crab friend in The Little Mermaid. He is voiced by Samuel E. Wright in the movies and TV show and by Kevin Michael Richards in the Kingdom Hearts series.

Ariel the mermaid is in love with Prince Eric, a human. The evil sea witch Ursula tries to stop them from being together. In the end, Prince Eric slays Ursula with his ship. Ariel's father, King Triton, sees Ariel's true love for Prince Eric and decides to turn her into a human so the couple can be together.

10 years after its first release, Disney rereleased it to get more money. I'm not saying it as a joke. That's the sole legitamite reason.

It stands to reason that Copenhagen's Little Mermaid is a memorial to Hans Christian Andersen, author of The Little Mermaid and countless other tales for children.

I should know. My little sis watches that movie like everyday!! She even has the dress for playing dress-up (included with shoes and the shell that sings AAAAAAAA)! Anyway, Ariel's beau's name is Prince Eric. :0)

It is a straight animated cartoon, not an admixture of live action and cartoons which was done with Mary Poppins, among others- straight cartoon animation.

She has to make the prince marry her or suffer a horrible death. This she has to do while under the handicap of being mute and having chronic pain in her legs. Alternately she can kill the prince and return to being a mermaid by bathing in his blood.

the most interesting part of this spectacular movie (based on a true story) is when charles (the main character) spoofs all over his dogs anus while his uncles tittys are flaping in the wind slaping against his armpits filled with cow nectar. (cow nectar is the equivalent of wind deficiency)

Ariel (who has father Triton and friends with Sebastian and Flounder) is voiced by Jodi Marie Benson. Just like the sequel.

The seagull is named Scuttle. When Ariel would find human items on shipwrecks, she would bring them to Scuttle, who gave them odd names and made up uses for them. For example, Scuttle told Ariel that a fork ("dinglehopper") was used for combing your hair!

The song was sung by Samuel E. Wright, who voiced the crab Sebastian.

Not sure if this is a Mermaid character- not the original l989 film. the Fata Morgana- no easy translation- Morgan"s fate, maybe or Weirdness of Morgan- it is a huge optical illusion of say an Island or a City in the middle of the Water- it can, and has caused navigational errors- and possibly shipwrecks and other accidents. The scene comes on gradually- with shifting clouds and fog- very science-fiction like- It may be some form of controlled or projected illusion but this defies present-day knowledge of photography and cinematography ( Movie science and technique) the subject is discussed at some length in Corliss" Handbook of Unusual Natural Phenomena, so there is some substance behind the odd mirages. there is no logical explanation, Cast your lures, deep this is a deep one.

Ariel disobeys her father, King Triton, and goes to the top of the sea to watch the fascinating humans. When there's a fire on the ship she's watching, Ariel saves the man she's attracted to--who happens to be a Prince on land.

She's desperate to get back to land to be with the Prince forever, so Ariel bargains with the Sea Witch to give her legs in exchange for her beautiful singing voice.

Ariel's friends help her get to land where the first person she meets is the Prince she saved. She can't talk, though, and struggles to make him understand her feelings for him without words.

When she gets close to getting through to the Prince, the Sea Witch steps in with an evil plan. Disney Princesses always reign, though, and in the end, Ariel triumphs over the Sea Witch and convinces King Triton to let her marry the Prince.

Ariel the little mermaid used a fork for a comb. She called it a dingle hopper.

After extensive web research, a small group of colleagues decided it is set in Croatia.

Croatia does seem a good candidate, but it's more likely that it's set in Denmark, as the author of the Little Mermaid lived there his entire life, and in the spin-off series, he (H.C. Andersen) learns about the mermaids by taking a submarine voyage (which doesn't appear to have been very long. Also, the architecture and scenery in the movie supports this.
