The moral of the story the Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Anderson is that women should not change themselves for a man. This is apparent because after changing herself, the prince cheats on the mermaid. Instead of killing the woman and giving in to what would ultimately make her evil, the mermaid returns to the sea where she dies and turns into sea-foam.

Not that I have seen. I know when I watch videos they talk about the little mermaid having a sister and show her mother in one of the follow up movies. there is a real life mermaid girl called mermaid melissa and she gets called ariels sister because she performs like a real mermaid in aquariums. look her up its so cool!

Well the plot is Ariel is a mermaid who falls in love with Eric who is a human! She really wants to become human, so she goes to Ursela! Ursela is a witch! Ursela agrees to let her become human for 3 days and if she kisses Eric before nightfall on the third day, she can be human forever. Ursela also takes Ariels voice to make it a challenge! Though Ursela makes it unfair, since there were numerous times they almost kissed. But she stopped them from kissing without them knowing! Then Ursela uses ariels voice to be a distraction to Eric. They never kissed so ariel becomes a mermaid again and eric tries to kill ursela. In the end ursela is defeated and ariels dad sees the love between her and eric. He lets her be human! THE END!

Ariel calls the fork a "dinglehopper." Scuttle the seagull gave the fork this name when Ariel asked him what it is because he is supposedly an expert on the human world. Scuttle says that dinglehoppers are used as hair combs to achieve an "aesthetically-pleasing appearance."

King Neptune a.k.a. Triton, the Sea God. Ariel's dad and king of Atlantis or Tritonis as it is sometimes called- a three-pronged attack. oddly the Trident coud just as well be an agrarian pitch-fork- which is a farm implement.

In the Disney movie his name was Prince Eric.

It was a cartoon, so technically, one does not have actors and actresses, but voicers and voice talent. Sometimes they do not give credit. Buddy Hackett ( one of his last roles) voiced one of the seagulls. I am not aware who the principal players were- this was not given up in lights treatment. On the other hand in Anastasia ( also a cartoon film but NOT a Disney opus) Meg Ryan played the title character and her leading man, Special Agent Dimitri ( IKGB man) was voiced by a well-known actor I can't recall his name. The role of the Dowager Empress Marie fell to Angela Lansbury. I don't recall the names of the voice actors and actresses in ( mermaid) In kiddy cartoons they are rarely (Up front).

Why should she. She is in love with the guy. Let us not get into a combination of Lust-murder or Liebestod which is a Dark, Germanic opera device. ( sadly, sometimes used in songs about freak accidents and mutual suicices).
