Why can't you change your past?
To answer this question ask another. Last week what breakfast cereal did you have on Monday?
I don't eat breakfast, just a coffee. The point is it wasn't worth remembering so you forgot it. We only remember the shock moments that trigger a memory or a flash from the past.
You wouldn't go back in time to change to which cereal you ate, you would only want to change a shock moment. You would try to change a moment in time that 'you' believe would change the present.
This next part will drive you mad, if you think in a box, don't think just let your mind wonder like in a dream.
My first example,
The Lotto was £30 million, it rolled over to £70 million then the week after £92 million, if only I knew the numbers. So I build a time machine and travel back in time and get myself a ticket and win £92 million. But what if I went back and won the £30 million first then the £92 million would not be their.
I want the most amount of money so I go for £92 million jack pot, I win it, I know the numbers. The second I interacted with the past I changed the future so the jack pot would be won by me, but the original me wanted to go back in time to win the jack pot. It was won by my other me so I would not build a time machine to travel back in time. So you can not travel back in time past the point of you building the time machine. If you did then the past isn't changed a new past is formed which makes a new future.
Example two,
A tramp is asleep on a park bench and is woken by an alien with a time machine and it ask's why he is living like a tramp, so he tells him of how he lost his company over investing on the stock market, he lost everthing hit the drink, his wfe left him got depressed and lives for wine. The alien takes him back to the moment in time just before he bought the shares.
1. He goes to tell himself not to buy the shares and wakes up on the park bench, with an alien who ask's him the same question.
2. He stops the shares transaction and lives a happy life in a new universe.
The answer is none of these, if you change the past you wouldn't be were you are now, the tramp would not be on the park bench to meet the alien, he would be home as in answer number 2. Which means the future was different and he wasn't a tramp, if he wasn't a tramp then he wouldn't have met the alien on that bench. So he wouldn't have travelled in time and stopped himself making the mistake. So he had to be a tramp to be their or did he?
The spelling mistakes and gramma errors you have spotted will make you think differently than if I had not mad them. So if I change them before you notice them then they never happened in your time line, but they did in mind.
So back to the tramp, the tramp will always be a tramp he has to be, the mistake would be stopped, no bad stock and he would be happy in his new future. That future would be unknown to the tramp and the thus cause a different future.
What happened in the tramps past happened, what happens in the new future happens also but not to the tramp but to the buisenes man who lives a happy life.
The tramp can take a back seat or co-inside with himself but all the future will be new to him.
This new future is not his past, that has happened and can not be changed. What he is doing is making a new future, which will give a new past, the old one will always remain.
If we travel back in time and save a life of someone who should of died then from that moment the future would be changed and so would make a new past. This would not change the point that person had died once or you went back in time and saved them. So in your past they had to have died for you to save them from dying in the new future.
The downside is if you change the past you only change the future and if the future is changed then your past didn't happen for you to want to change it.
Remember you can't change the past because not matter how bad or sad the facts may be, if did happen then your present would not be your own.
Everything is ment to happen, no matter how bad or sad.
You can't change your past, but you can make a different future.
To see how time travel would mess the world up, try this.
Play chess on a computer and record the moves made, You verses the computer at highest level on Vista.
Then play a new game and start with different opening move, you are trying the change the past, to win. The result would be a different game.
Try to repeat the first game knowning the computers moves and try to win. As soon as you change a move from the first game, you change the game and you don't know the computers new move till it happens so the end result would be different.
My advice is:
Don't dwell on the pasts 'if only', it will drive you mad. Make the best of the present and if your not happy, then try to change your future.
A good film which is a remake of the 1960's film answers the simple question of why you can't change the past. timemachine.countingdown.com/ - 4k
What made you want to change the past was that which lead you to want to change it, it had to happen for you to want to change it.
It's 10 times, not eleven, check on your watch.
How many hours are in a month?
Different months have different lengths. Depending on what exactly you want to calculate, you can either multiply the length of a specific month - 28, 29, 30 or 31 days - or some type of average (about 30.5) by the number of hours in a day.
Neither noon nor midnight are either AM or PM. "AM" stands for the latin phrase "ante meridium" and "PM" stands for "post meridium", where "meridium" means noon. Noon is neither before nor after noon; it is noon. In some localized areas, people use 12:00 pm to refer to noon, and in others 12:00 pm is understood to be midnight. It is advisable not to use either AM or PM for noon or midnight, but instead write out "noon" or "midnight". If you must use an abbreviation instead, there are several options (each used by various people). One popular set is "M" (for "meridies") for noon and "MN" (for "media nox") for midnight, e.g. 12:00 m or 12:00 mn. Also, the abbreviation for ante meridium is properly written several ways: "AM", "am", "A.M.", "a.m."; and correspondingly for post meridium.
When is it better to use the 24 hour clock instead of a 12 hour clock?
A 24 hour clock is better when you are running around the clock operations. Military, Police and Fire Stations use it to avoid any confusion when talking time. Factories that run around the clock, shipping companies, and airlines use it. Answer The Aviation and Space industries use the 24 hour clock as well. It reduces confusion, especially when written or oral communications are critical
When the question was asked the "time now" was 12:18 pm on 11 Feb 2008.
The "time now" when you read this answer will be different as the "time now" changes every second.
Which is pm midday or midnight?
It is best to write or refer to midday as 12:00 noon and midnight as 12:00 midnight, even though it is correct to refer to midnight as 12:00 am and noon as 12:00 pm. This may cause confusion, however, if it is not clear to the recipient.
