Can Crest Sensitivity toothpaste cause the same problem as sensodyne?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Crest tooth paste does in fact have information stating that the product has not been completely tested which in some cases is causing negative effects on clients using this product. From my personal experience and knowledge in the dental profession i recommend you use sensodyne, it works great and is CDA (Canadian Dental Association) or ADA (American Dental Association) approved (meaning it the product has gone through scientific testing to make sure the product works to great benefit and is safe to use.

Hope this answers your question :)

Some Toothpaste brands claim you can whiten your teeth in 30 days by using their toothpaste assuming that you brush your teeth 3 times a daydoes brushing your teeth 90 times in one day do the same?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Do not try that trick! You will ruin your teeth and your gums! If you want to have your teeth whiter, start by having a dental cleaning to remove all the spots. Then, if your teeth are not white enough, you can do a tooth whitening, either at the dentist, or you can also use some products sold at the pharmacy. Another thing you could do is brush your teeth every day and night.

User Avatar

Asked by PuttDanudejfb1686

No. Cavities are places where a hole has formed in the protective coating of the tooth. That coating, called enamel, is make of a mineral called apetite, or fluoroapetite if you grew up in a community that fluoridated their water. Once it's gone, it's gone, as the cells that produced the enamel do not make more.

Does whitening toothpaste have baking soda in it?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Baking soda is found in most toothpastes, but the harmful chemical in them that you need to watch out for is fluoride. This can hurt the enamel that protects your teeth from the food you eat and the bacteria in your mouth. I recommend that you should either get a toothpaste with no fluoride in it, or just use baking soda mixed with a little salt.

No, using Colgate on acne spots will not necessarily improve your skin. Toothpaste will have a drying effect though, and could cause further irritation, peeling, and redness. To more effectively treat acne, use a formula specifically for skin, such as benzoyl peroxide.

How does toothpaste help to prevent itching in mosquito bites?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The toothpase, if flouridated, helps support the foundations that support those who secure the potability of water in areas where the malaria pathogen is kept copasthetic; when that enesthetic balance is maintained in an appropriately adequate way, the reaction of the skin in the flouridated area to a mosquito bite is dulled by the quality of the breathing air. Thus, the mechanism is similar to that of the medieval weapon salve.
