Just because someone feels trapped in their body and wants a sex change does not mean they have to fall in love with the opposite gender all of a sudden. Those things don't change. Maybe you just want to be a transvestite and dress and live like a woman. Not everyone feels they want to change bodies. That is something you have to decide since there is no real turning back one the operation is done. It's very risky. Before you are allowed to have a operation though you will go to therapy for a couple of years so they know this is really what you want and you also have to live and dress like a woman during this time. Female-to-Male transsexual surgery is very complicated. It isn't as easy as picking out the size of a penis. Skin must be grafted to the body and it heavily scars other parts of the body. Most FTMs don't have bottom surgery (genital surgery) and instead opt for top surgery (chest surgery) and buy prosthetic penises (which you can pick the size of). These are pretty advanced.

1) Okay - chemical castration doesn't work for most sex offenders, a sex change with facial and physical femininzation surgery are not going to stop a sex offender; they would now just do the same thing as a legal female.

It would be the State Department, not the Police State Department or it would be the State Police. Besides, Witsec: Witness Protection, is handled by the US Marshals, not State Department.

And worse - if she actually was in Witsec: she's now dead. You don't allow your name and picture and any connection of any kind out (on the web or on tv, or radio or. ..) when there are people looking for you i.e. want you dead.

Okay, I've been serious, the truth is, this is meant to be publicity: I don't know where these girls came from or where they are going, but this certainly will get them some notice. Someone does need to teach them to dance, more about grace and poise and a little flair. All in all, hooray for the publiist who thought this up! Note: along with the view of the girls walking the catwalk are pictures of the supposed men they were; no way, some of these guys are in their 30's and by then surgery is not gonna get results like we see.

Nothing like "half male-half female" really exists. It's more like a person would have some usually male and some usually female sex characteristics mixed together, like a smaller-than-average penis with smaller-than-average breasts. A person with characteristics like this is sometimes referred to as "intersex" or "hermaphrodite" (though some people see this as offensive).

So, if a transsexual man just takes testosterone, it is fairly likely that he will no longer have periods. Some people, though, continue to have periods while on testosterone. However, this doesn't mean that they can become pregnant, since testosterone is not conducive to fertilization of the egg.

To the non-transsexual community, a "sex change" often refers specifically to genital surgery, that is, surgery (such as metoidioplasty or phalloplasty) to make the recipient's genitals look more phenotypically male. Such a surgery is mostly only cosmetic and does not affect function of the internal reproductive organs. Tell him how you feel. You have a right to refuse to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable and he should respect that. It sounds like you are talking about sex. In no case should a father-in law have sex with his daughter-in-law, it's just wrong.
