People fighting on the main-card usually make a lot more money that those who fight on the under-card or the preliminary-card. People make as low as $5000 or so per fight and so, the amount of money you may make at your UFC debut may be around that number as well. More prominent fighters make a lot more money when they make their UFC debut, for ex: Brock Lesnar reportedly made $250,000 for his UFC Debut against Frank Mir.

Officially the record holder is Primo Carnera with 69 knockouts. But the legitimacy of some of them is highly dubious as Carnera's career was controlled by the mob and many if not most of his fights were allegedly fixed. George Foreman is second overall and first in legitimate knockouts with 68. Ezzard Charles (58) and Max Baer (52) are the only other heavyweights with more than 50 career knockouts. However, many of Charles' knockouts came in lower weight classes so there is some debate as to whether he should be on the list.

From my experience in weight training for martial arts, I recommend the following strength standards:

Bench Press 1.5-2*bwtSquat: 1.75-2.5 * bwtDead Lift: 2.0-2.5 * bwt.

Power Clean: .75-1.5* bwtFront Squat: .75-1.5* bwtPower Snatch: .5-1.25*bwt

Standing Press: .75-1.3 *bwtIncline press: 50 lbs less than your flat bench press

Barbell Curl: .5-1.0 *bwt

Please keep in mind that these strength standards are for a fighter who has been lifting for around a year or two. If you are new to lifting weights start out light and allow your body to become accustomed to the new demands being placed on it. Always remember to also stretch and do some aerobic acitvity to keep the body limber.

Both Pride and UFC are MMA promotions that organize events where fighters fight one another in MMA bouts. UFC is a much larger promotion in terms of size, value ($$) and number of fighters. Pride is much smaller and is usually the promotion where talented fighters start their careers. As they win matches and build reputation, they move over to larger organizations like UFC.
