Who are an alien term for people living on earth?
I don't think there is a word for aliens living on Earth. I think they would just be called aliens.m

There is no evidence to suggest that aliens (other than those coming across the borders of Mexico and Canada) have visited Earth. That being so, it is impossible to know what term an alien would use for Earthlings. An alien's speech probably would be nothing like ours . . . it could be clicks, stomach rumblings, or perhaps not even use sound! :-)
Rods are photographic artifacts created by a moving object (usually a flying insect) scanned strobegraphicly (excuse my spelling) inadvertanly by a raster scanning device such as a video camera. Trial tests have proven that insects flying at a particular rate create trail type streaks or artifacts that resemble some sort of flying rod with wings!
UFO disclosure has been forthcoming "in a year's time" or "within two years" for at least a couple of decades according to believers.
So far these disclosures are as apparent as the end of the world as announced by various cults and sects.

I would say that UFOs are not round; we tend to think of them that way because the first descriptions of them called them "flying saucers". But ask any logistics manager how to stack goods then "cover your ears" to listen to his response to a round storeroom. You might also ask the crew what they thought about cheese shaped cabins.
A round shape does not give any aerodynamic advantage; on the contrary, you would have to have some way of controlling every surface for steering. A triangular- delta-shape would in the end run be most efficient. As for "stacking" in the mother ship, round is the worst possible shape in terms of space/volume.
OK, where is the Mother Ship? We have thousands of satellites between us and the moon, and some even more further out. Well, we know about stealth technology, we even use it on the B2 (when it isn't raining), so we must assume that in all bands of observation: visual, UV, radar (all ranges), IR, etc, these things outwit us; including the launch of small flying saucers through the vast network of radar surveillance all countries seem to have these days. What good is it selling a missile defence system to Poland if UFOs zip right through it?
So, I don't think UFOs are round. I would love to believe in them, but until they land, like Cortez in Mexico, or Pizzaro in Peru, I will have to rest with just the pleasant, science fiction dreams of my youth.

They have nothing to do with the traditional meaning of the abbreviation, they were Hippie or Flower-Girl styled jeans in various faded and clean designs and had a sort of trademark of a stylized American Flag with the word UFO on the canton or upper left hand rectangular area of the Flag.
