The US Marshal service is the oldest federal law enforcement agency in the US and is tasked with the safety of the judicial officers of the US. US Marshals transport prisoners, provide security in the nation's courts, serve arrest warrants, and hunt for fugitives; they also serve orders from the federal courts.

A federal indigtment could warrant a US Marshal hold. If you were in jail for a petty crime, but it involved US money, drugs AND firearms (not just one or the other), or another federal crime, the US Marshal will detain you or have you HELD until further questioning or investigation.
Could US hold out long aganst Russia and china?
That depends on how alert the USA is. She has had decades to plan her plans for an attack; and fortify against just about every conceivable scenario that Russia and China might engage against her including a combined Russian/Chinese frontal attack. Americas great weakness is that she is gullible and mostly asleep and open to surprise. Today, 2008, America is blinded by her great power and shiny military systems thinking that she is the best and that no one would ever attack her. The Chinese will know this and might perhaps seek to one day use it. America doesnt think like China does, so she is open to a sneak attack through complex deception scenarios. China might invade Taiwan, then America gets sucked into the war, then China decides to seek peace agreements and the USA agrees, then without warning China might do a sudden attack upon the USA. Bingo...its over very quickly if America is so deceived. A combined attack by Russia and China would be over fast and the USA mostly broken. We need to pray for the USA. Without her... the forces of darkness would swamp the rest of the world mostly so. Pray for America. She needs our prayers. She needs someone in power, e.g. the President would be a great start, to encourage Christian revival to get God back on her side. *you might note: regarding the Chinese. Whereas the Americans are generally open and honest and straight shooting mostly so...the Chinese are different. Deception with them is a mind game so often. It is known in Australian banking circles that Chinese will keep agreements with each other (they will honour agreements between themselves) yet they will default (wont payback money etc) on agreements with westerners as it suits them. In truth there are no binding agreements with the Chinese that westerners can trust them to keep. Gibo.

To be specific, Halloween was an old Celtic holiday a long time ago. People put scary decorations around their home and offerings (what is today, candy) to scare the demons (now children) away.
We dress up to portray those demons and monsters.
How do us marshals serve the district courts?
make arrests in federal criminal cases, hold accused persons in custody, secure jurors, serve legal papers, keep order in court rooms, and execute court orders and decisions.
Do you have to be in custody to have us marshal hold?
Yes, generally you WILL already be in custody on some other, possibly even un-related charge. If you are in custody, held on some charge, and the U.S. Marshall's Office is interested in you for whatever reason, they place a "hold" on you which means that whatever happens to you on the original charge for which you were arrested, you won't be released until the Marshall's Office is notified and comes for you.
Can a US Marshal arrest someone in the military?
A federal marshal does have a wide jurisdiction and can arrest a military official just like anyone else, but normally military police and a military court will deal with a soldier in an arrest case (if it happened on military property or while they are in service (DEPLOYED). Just because you are a soldier doesn't make you any less vulnerable to arrest. A village police officer can arrest a military official if a violation occurs in their jurisdiction. No soldier immunity in the U.S.

NO they don't. ssi is free. ssidi is free. food stamps are free if you qualify. Grants are free if you qualify. You see, entitlements are not free for everyone, just those that are bad off enough to qualify. Believe me, you don't want to be that bad off.
