What is a good place for military training?

The best place would be Basic Training (or what most people call "Boot Camp") Depending which branch of the military you're interested in joining would determine which training you would need most.

How can you advance at the Navy's boot camp?

You can't - unless you're prior service and are re-entering boot camp for the second time (after being discharged for a certain period and re-entering the service), you're stuck being an E-1 recruit just like everyone else in your company.

There are company leaders, typically a Recruit Chief and First Class, but those are selected by the Company Commander after the Company is formed. They're typically older or those who have had leadership training as a civilian.

The whole point of BT is to strip everyone's individuality so that everyone is the same, and then teach you to work as a team in everything you do. You compete and achieve everything as a company, not as an individual. You are rewarded and punished as a company. Everything you do is as a team.

Is there a way to get your soldier who wants to quit out of basic?

No. The Army is really reticent to let a soldier out during basic training because everyone hates basic training--it's kind of a requirement. Tell him once he gets out of training, the Army gets a LOT better.

There needs to be a valid reason. Physical disability, medical condition, last survivor clause, something to that effect. Or, they could go the route to get themselves an Other-Than-Honourable discharge, which will have negative repercussions for the rest of their life. Indicators of membership in a gang or other subversive organisation used to be a good way to get that done, but a lot of commanders have been less than keen to act on this, in times when they've found themselves hard pressed for personnel to fill the roster.

Answer:You don't. You serve your time like you stood up and said you would. You suck it up, and become a man or woman. You grow up and take responsibility for your actions.

That all being said, if you for some unforeseen reason are unable to complete your contract, speak with the training unit commander for options.

You want to go to a boot camp but the ones not for bad kids?

If you are inquiring about going to either a Basic Training the real military training then all you have to do is enlist in the Military. But if you are to young then you could sign up to the program for kids( United States Naval Sea Cadets, United States Army Cadets, United States Naval League Cadets, Junior Marines... ect.) They will in turn take you through a sample Basic Training that is just like the real thing. Or you could just ask the branch you want to join if there is anyway you may join a division in training and sit in with them during their basic. Not the best solution but if you want to this will work to.

Can you up in rank at boot camp?

No. You can definitely go down in rank, but not up. The big reason is that you're not there long enough. Most ranks have a Time in Service and Time in Grade standard that has to be met before you can be considered for promotion.

The other reason is because they have no need to promote you in basic. With most units, promotion comes with responsibility. Remember that rank is not awarded to outstanding soldiers, it is given as a responsibility to leaders. There may be exceptions to this rule, but don't go in expecting to be promoted. Generally speaking, this never happens in basic.

How can you get out of the marines if you regret enlisting?

Here's the short answer: you have to be a millionaire.

Yes, you can "buy out" of your contract (though it's not called a "buy out" -it's called a "financial hardship discharge"), but you have to have so much money that the majority of your time would have to be dedicated to maintaining that wealth, thus military service would be detrimental to you and to them (aka a hardship discharge).

How is it detrimental to them? Easy. When you can laugh about having 90-days pay docked, and can afford to make their lives Hell through a Courts-Martial, it no longer is cost effective to keep you around, and your lawyer and the US Military will come to an amicable agreement: you leave.

So, unless you have seven figures, signed to the NBA, or just won the lottery, don't bother.

How can you wear your hair at army boot camp?

If you're a male, then you will be bald the majority of the time. If you are female, you're hair must be in a bun or short enough not to extend past the shoulders or rest on your uniform (this also goes for the rest of your career, females.)

Why can't you touch your face in boot camp?

Your question is unclear. Knowing the context of "touching your face" would make this easier to answer.

The only occasion where you would touch your face is saluting. With a flat palm, and unbent wrist, one raises his right arm, bending at the elbow to bring the tip of his index finger to his right eyebrow, with the palm tilted slightly toward the face. this is of course for the only occasions of saluting indoors, reporting.

Any other reason for "not touching" ones face would be the result of an order, and the reason for not touching your face in that case is that you were ordered not to.

How do you get the hold the flag in boot camp?

Have good military bearing. (salute, standing at attention, drill movements)

When I was at Navy bootcamp about 6 months ago we had 6 flag holders, divison flag, navy flag, staff flag, then various other flags we got for achievements such as good conduct, marksman, testing, etc.

I know the 2 shortest people in my division were chosen to hold flags because they like shorter people doing it.

But it's all volunteer, they'll ask who wants to hold flags, if nobody volunteers then people are going to get voluntold.

Just a note, it's a tuff job. You get yelled at more and I remember our flag holders were practicing for atleast 4 hours a day

What happens during the 12th week of marines boot camp?

You are going to boot camp should you be afraid?

No. You should prepare yourself physically however. If you are not yet running, start. Condition yourself to be able to run at least one mile, more would be better. Condition yourself to do at least twenty push up as well. Everything else will be taken care of when you arrive.

How do you clear your skin in weeks?

wow its simple really if u have whiteheads or blackheads pop them, then take a hot clothe and lay it on the open pimples, next wash your face with ivory soap and use a toner like umm witch hazel

it cleans the skin w/o stripping it. after that then please put toothpaste on the popped pimples. only for 20 min and by the morning you should see a huge difference in your face. with this drink plenty of water to cleanse your system. tooth paist does dry you skin very badly so if you have bad skin you should not do this and if ur spot are not that bad cause you will mess up ur skin.

Which is tougher Army basic training or Marine basic training?

One man's opinion...Marines definetly. Upon graduation from Marine boot camp, you are considered elite by U.S. Military standards. they train longer, harder, and have mean drill instructors. But, it's not like the movie Fullmetal jacket. If you've never been yelled at before, and I mean yelled at to the point where you feel a sharp pinch coming from your ear drum, then you will probably be in for a surprise. The Marine drill instructor's job is to get you to realize it's time to pull your head out of the back of your front and get with the program. Other than that it's fun. A differing opinion...It is up to the individual to make that determination for themselves, in reality the only difference between the two is that Marines have to go through swim training and the Army has not need for it being that the Army is a land based combat element and the largest and oldest branch in the Military. If you have to ask yourself why they have to go through swim training then you might want to do some research. The Marines are a part of the Department of the Navy, they are the smallest branch of the Military and the majority of the specialized training is conducted either with the Army or through the Army. There is only three (3) Marine installations: Camp Pendelton California, Camp Lejeune North Carolina and 29 Palms California. Other than that they are assigned to a ship with their Navy counterparts, or on an Army Base.

People enlist in the Marines for one of four reasons:

  1. They like the uniform
  2. It is a family tradition
  3. They think they are hardcore
  4. Because their friends enlisted.

All the other branches have technical jobs that require specialized training and all others want you to continue your education and get something out of being a Soldier, Sailor or Airmen.
