Castro Valley is in on the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. It is adjacent to Hayward, San Leandro and Pleasanton. From I-880 take the 238 N/538 E exit. There is one exist off of 238 N and 3 exists off of I-580 east that take you to Castro Valley.
The first is Castro Valley Blvd/Foothill Blvd exit that takes you into the western end of Castro Valley, Eden Hospital, some hotels and several Medical Practices. Once you merge onto 580 E, the Redwood Road exist takes you into downtown Castro Valley, the library, the golf course, BART, Highway Patrol and most of the restaurants.
The next exist Grove Way/Crow Canyon lakes you closer to the Eastern end of Castro Valley towards the Five Canyons and Palomares Hills communities. You can find some good hotels and restaurants off this exist as well.
