Vampires

Vampire bats typically feed on the blood of livestock such as cattle, pigs, and birds, as they are easier targets. Humans are larger and are usually able to detect and remove the bat before it can feed. Additionally, vampire bats are more likely to transmit diseases to humans, so they may avoid feeding on them to reduce this risk.

Vampires, in the classical sense, were drawn with pointed ears because it made them resemble bats whose pointed ears help them to hear. In reality, a Vampire is simply someone - anyone - who consumes blood. Many people in history practiced it because they believed it would keep them young forever. There are people today who practice it. None of them had pointed ears or gained pointed ears from the act. Or if anyone did, it wasn't because of the act but something unrelated.

Incidentally, however, the concept was to some degree proven correct (see the related link).

It was shown that young blood can reverse the aging process. However, if you were to consume blood, the blood component would be destroyed by digestion and would cease to be of value. Which is why no one gets younger by drinking blood.

It is biologically possible, however, for a classical vampire to exist. If an individual had a mutation that allowed them to ingest blood without digesting it and they consumed the blood of the young and healthy, this blood would keep the indivudal young forever and provide all their nutritional needs. Because it is biologically possible, it means there is a chance the Vampire stories have a root in truth. However, none have been proven to exist and certainly not with pointed ears.

In the Twilight series, vampires sparkle in the sun because their skin is made of diamond-like particles that refract light in a sparkling manner as a result of their unique biology. This serves as a unique twist on traditional vampire lore where vampires are typically harmed or destroyed by sunlight.

In many vampire myths and lore, vampires burn or disintegrate when exposed to sunlight. This weakness to sunlight is a common trait in vampire mythology, leading to severe consequences for the vampire if they are caught in sunlight.

I think that they survive by drinking other people's blood and also, maybe, getting that person's soul and it gives them another 100 years to live. then they just keep going. idk , something like that.

Avoid being alone in dark places and always carry garlic or wear a protective amulet. Stay indoors during the night, and if you must go out, always travel with a friend. Additionally, keeping a wooden stake and a vial of holy water nearby could help protect you from potential vampire attacks.

A vampire-werewolf hybrid is commonly referred to as a "hybrid" or "dhampir."

A zombie, in its original definition in the voodoo religeon, was suppose to be a dead body brought back to life. In reality the zombie was a person under the influence of the poison of the puffer fish. The poison paralyzes the victim so that they appear dead (to the untrained eye) and when the poison wears off the 'dead person' comes back to life. Therefore a real zombie (and there are individuals that have this status even today) is a person that has fooled the general public by undergoing a dangerous procedure. To be fair, most of these people are victims of a dangerous attack and are not the perpetrators themselves.

That depends on what a) series of books/ legend or b) what movie. If your talking about the Darren Shan series, then vampires are supposedly decendants of wolves. If you are talking about the vampire diaries or Twilight, then they are enemies.

Vampires bite to consume blood, which provides them with sustenance and energy to survive. This act also symbolizes the transfer of life force from the victim to the vampire in many vampire folklore and stories.

Well, in most of the stories it says they can't, but nobody knows if it is true because there is no true proof.

It use to be that vampires were not much affected by sunlight at all. Count Dracula walked around in the sunlight quite freely. It wasn't until the movie Nosferatu came out in 1921 that sunlight became lethal to vampires. Only recently have vampires regain much of their resistance to sunlight.

Vampires are make believe creatures. Part of the fantasy is that if a vampire is caught by sunlight it will burn up. That is why they are creatures of the night that must be back in their coffins by sunrise.

The vampenze kill their pray before they drink; vampire do not, they knock them out, and take a sip. When a vampire crosses paths with a vampeneze, vice versa, their ways may get them into battle.

It's highly unlikely that the kid is a vampire. Misshapen teeth can be caused by genetic factors, poor oral hygiene, or dental issues. It's best not to jump to supernatural conclusions and instead focus on supporting the individual's dental health.

The other group of vegetarian vampires, known as the Denali coven, lives in Alaska. They are a coven of vampires that follow a similar lifestyle to the Cullens in the "Twilight" series, choosing not to drink human blood.

There are said to be some wicked beings in the astral plane able to take over someone else's astral body and force them to do vampire-like acts. It is also believed that users of dark magic can call upon these evil beings and bring them into the material world.
