What are the lyrics of These Are the Days Written and Performed by Van Morrison?

These are the days of the endless summer

These are the days, the time is now

There is no past, there's only future

There's only here, there's only now

Oh your smiling face, your gracious presence

The fires of spring are kindling bright

Oh the radiant heart and the song of glory

Crying freedom in the night

These are the days by the sparkling river

His timely grace and our treasured find

This is the love of the one magician

Turned the water into wine

These are days of the endless dancing and the

Long walks on the summer night

These are the days of the true romancing

When I'm holding you oh, so tight

These are the days by the sparkling river

His timely grace and our treasured find

This is the love of the one great magician

Turned water into wine

These are the days now that we must savour

And we must enjoy as we can

These are the days that will last forever

You've got to hold them in your heart.

How tall is Van Hansis 183 cm?

All unoffical biographies list Van Hansis' height at 6'. Mr. Hansis does not have an "official" internet presence.

I would love to believe that Van Hansis is 6 ft tall but that is not possible. Do you think a 6 ft tall man would be 6 inches taller than a 5'3 tall female. NO! His imb page says he is 5'11 and a 1/4 but that is way too tall also look and him with Alexandra Chando who is clearly 5'3 and you will see he is not too much taller than she is. So that would make him either 5'8 and a half or possibly 5'9 and a half. Jake Silbermann also claims 6'2 but this is not right either. There is not more than 3 inches difference between him and Van Hansis. So at most Jake Sillbermann is 6'0 and a half but most likely he is either 5'11 or 5'11 and a half I would say the latter is right. Celebs lie about their height all the time but this one is easy to see that Van Hansis is clearly no where near 6'0. Final verdict 5'8 and a half awarded to the plaintiff Van Hansis.

What is the meaning of brown eyed girl by van Morrison?

Despite popular myth, "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison is not about drugs. The song is about reminiscing over an interracial relationship. The song was written and recorded in 1967, toward the end of the Civil Rights Movement.

The song was originally titled "Brown-Skinned Girl." Van Morrison changed the title when the song was first recorded to make it more radio-friendly. Another example of the song's being changed to suit radio broadcast is the line "Laughin' and a-runnin', hey hey", which was taken from the first verse and used to replace the line "Making love in the green grass" in the third verse of the censored version.

Why is Van Morrison not as popular as The Beatles?

I'm not sure. I've never been able to figure that one out. For one thing, Van Morrison himself has publicly stated that he does not like pop music; he grew up listening to jazz, blues, country, R&B, and maybe some early rock n' roll. He developed a highly unique style throughout his career that may not always reach the mainstream, but all of his albums are interesting and worth hearing. As for the Beatles, all they were famous for was their image and dreadfully overproduced pop music. I've never understood people's fascination with them, and I never will. Even Van stated that he doesn't even admire the Beatles, or Elvis for that matter. So the unfortunate answer to the question is that people choose manufactured crap or over genuine musical talent.
