What do you mean by "recolor"? Do you mean to change the colors in th video? such as the hue, the saturation or changing to another?

I haven't tried before. So I'm thinking whether you can achieve this by adding a filter to the video file.

I'm using Womble MPEG Video Wizard DVD, and I know that some filters it provides can change the colors in the video, e.g. the Color Balance filter, the Color Pass filter and the Color Replace filter, etc. Import your video onto the timeline, and drag and drop the filter into the video clip.

That I know of there is only one way. Right click on the clip you want to be one half of the screen and press pan/crop. Move it to the side you want it to be on and the size you want it. It will cut off half of the video, though. Do the same to the next clip, and move it to the other side.

No, absolutely not! Take it from me, a vid productions student who has worked with both. Final Cut has less bugs and more options than Vegas. It is also seen as a more professional software program if you are looking for a job in the production industry.

I think you may need a DVD copy to copy the DVD to another DVD disc. You could not "download" a DVD to your computer, but you could rip it to other video or movie files then burn it to another DVD disc.

For the music you can make the voices of the singers or speakers of the video static or some sort of strange voice. You can also make the voices slow and low or high pitched and strange. These are just a few things you can do on Sony Vegas.

Using Adobe Premiere Elements (I assume you have this as you have a prel file) go to "Share" then "Personal Computer". Once there, select "MPEG". This will save you the file in this format. If you don't have it, download Any Video Converter, which is a free download. Add the file you have just made and convert to an "MP4" file. You can now go to your Youtube page and upload it.
