Conventional Astrology ( the very basic kind) likes you to believe that these two signs (and elements) will clash with each other, just like say stripes and paisley might. Virgo is humble, realistic, introverted, sensitive, and "down-to-Earth", while Aquarius is said to extroverted, abstract in thinking, idealistic, insensitive to others feelings, and "aloof".

But let's be Virgo in nature for just one second (by that, I mean "realistic") and think about it. There are an infinite amount of people on this Earth, and I assure you there are Virgo/Aquarius relationships "out there" and they are everywhere. I'm not saying these two don't have their differences because they definitely do. They are basically opposites when it comes to their personalities, but that's probably what will attract them in the first place. Of course, this might be one of those pairings where they're better off being "just friends" as opposed to being lovers. But, then again the latter might just work just as well.
