one way would be to go to start menu- then go to control panel- then click programs>> search for vlc>> click on it and it will be uninstalled.

another way is to go to ur C drive>> then program files>>then VLC >> open the folder and look for <uninstall>

You need a converter. I use WinX. it has a nice Lumia profile so you don't have to mess with any settings.

Doremisoft Video converter has one too, but I haven't used it. Unfortunately I don't know of any free ones.
