Well it is simple, short players are forced to adapt to there size. Usually short players learn to put lot's of top spin on the ball (by snapping harder on the ball). A short player usually does not T-line it every single time but instead loads on the tops spin and hits it to a deep corner. these shots are hard to dig at all levels.

Top 10 volleyball player in the world?
Well if you are talking about the best volleyball player in the WORLD, then Giba, an Outside Hitter from Brazil should take that title. Dante, the other outside hitter from Brazil is also really good. It is also very difficult to tell who is the best volleyball player because you can't compare different positions. Another really good outside hitter is Matey Kaziyski from Bulgara. Lloy Ball, the setter from United States is personally my favorite setter. My favorite opposites are Andre from Brazil and Gabe Gardner from the U.S.// I also think that Mariusz Wlazły of Poland is a phenomenal opposite. Also the best scorer in the last two world cups has been Puerto Rico's Hector "Picky" Soto.
A pass is usually used when a team is receiving the serve. A pass is usually made with the forearms (bump) although you can overhead pass (set) a serve too. The goal of a pass is to get the ball perfectly to the setter so that she/he can assist a hitter.
Passes are scored as a 3 2 1 or 0. 3 is a perfect pass and 0 is a shanked ball.
A dig is not the same as a pass!

What is the meaning of save in volleyball?
A save is when one of your players gets a hard ball into play. For example, if the opposing team spikes the ball onto your side and a backrow player dives for it and gets it up to the setter, that is considered a "save". Basically, your "saving" the ball or "saving" your teams butt : )
There are two main ones. During your service if you step on or over the line then a foul is called. Also,if you don't release the ball 5 seconds after the ref's whistle to begin the service you are called a foul. When the foul is called for both of these errors, the other team gains possession of the ball. Also there is another more complicated rule. If you throw the ball in the air and realize it is a bad toss you don't want to hit then you are allowed to let the ball hit the ground, but only ONCE per that rotation of serves. The next time that you come around the court to serve, you may drop it only once again. Another foul called is when you serve before the ref's whistle. Depending on the ref, you will either get a second chance or the other team gains possession of the ball.
