How long is Mozart's 41st symphony?
The short answer: a little over 30 minutes, on average. But just for grins, I thought I'd look up the playing times of several different recordings.
Neville Marriner & Academy of St.-Martin-in-the-Fields:
Leonard Bernstein & Vienna Philharmonic:
Herbert von Karajan & Berlin Philharmonic:
George Szell & Cleveland Orchestra:
Joel Levine & Chicago Symphony:
The shortest playing time was Szell and Cleveland (26:25), and the longest was Bernstein and Vienna (38:07)--quite a difference! At least from this small sampling, it looks as though the determining factor is the tempo of the 4th movement. The 1st movement came in around 11 minutes with all except Szell (needs to switch to decaf!), the 2nd movement was more or less around 8 minutes except for Levine, and the 3rd movement was consistently 4-and-a-half to 5 minutes. But the finale times were 8:25, 11:38, 6:02, 5:59, and 11:07. That's a pretty major difference of interpretation!
What does Don Giovanni have to do with Mozart's father?
Don Giovanni was premiered five months after Mozart's father's death. The play Amadeus made a big deal of this, no doubt the death affected Mozart very deeply. A father is killed right at the start of the opera. The murdered father later comes and carries Don Giovanni off to hell. All very Freudian stuff. The oppressive Leopold standing over his son, never letting him be his own man. And lo and behold Mozart dies three and a half years after his dad. All very depressing. And sad. Was Leopold poisoned? maybe we should start the rumour.

Is Symphony 40 by Mozart in sonata allegro form?
Mozart's 40th is his most serious symphony, one of only two out of the 41 in a minor key. In keeping with this, it's also more complex. Three of the four movements are in sonata-allegro form, with only the third movement adhering to the normal classical mold, the usual minuet and trio. The mostly somber mood has not prevented it being one of Mozart's most popular works.
Is there another name for Rondo alla Turka by Mozart?
It's the 3rd movement of his A major piano sonata. In Austria people call it "Türkischer Marsch" (turkish march), but I don't really know why that is.
Did Mozart composed alphabet song?
In the 1780s, Mozart made the tune of it. (originally for the song he composed, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star") But then 50 years later an American music publisher, Charles Bradlee, put the ABCs to that tune and copyrighted it in 1835. Mozart made the tune of the Alphabet song, (and Twinkle Twinkle and Baa Baa Black Sheep) not the lyrics.
What does this quote means Neither fire nor wind birth nor death can erase your good deeds?
It means that we enjoy or suffer the consequences of our actions. As we sow, so do we reap. Perfect justice is inescapable. It often takes a long time. We earn karmic 'merit' for both our 'good' & 'bad' deeds. Nobody can alter your karmic record - contrary to the idea that some people have the power to forgive your sins. We ourselves must right our wrongs.
This is tied to the law of rebirth (reincarnation) which is part of Buddhist & Hindu teachings & was removed from the Christian Bible in the fourth century AD by the Emporer Justinius. We must pay price for our 'bad' deeds ourselve. Nobody can do that for us. Righting wrongs or doing good deeds is how bad deeds are cleared.
