How does reversal entail in wrestling?
It is a reversal of who is in control.
In a Wrestling match, one person may be in the controlling position on top, and the other person is being controlled on the bottom. This is often the starting position for the second and third period of a match. When you are in the bottom position, and you perform any move, or combination of moves that allows you to "reverse" on your opponent and take control of the match from the top position, then you are awarded points (usually 2) for a reversal.
If a wrestling match starts with both opponents on their feet, and one opponent takes the other to the ground, and gains control, then this is known as a "take-down" and is usually awarded 2 points. If you are being controlled in the bottom position, and you get free to stand up and face your opponent on your feet again, then this is called an "escape" and is awarded 1 point. Only when you are being controlled, and you turn it around to be the one in control is it called a "reversal."
Who is Aces and Eight on tna wrestling?

copy and paste,,, http://homepage.mac.com/knarley/owenhart/owen.html,,,,, his cable broke and he fell on the turnbuckles somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 feet. he was to make an entrance similar to sting. yea his cable broke and he hit the mat near the bottom right turnbuckle (if you were watching from the left side) and from mick foley said, he left a gaping hole in the mat. The harness Owen used was designed for sailboats and required only six pounds of weight to trigger the quick release mechanism; Owen weighed about 225 pounds.
Does a video of Owen Hart's death exist?
I know I'm WAY late to the party, BUT, yes, there is video of Owen's fall. However, it is locked away in a vault at WWE head quarters in Connecticut with a note on it saying to never be viewed, copied or destroyed.
The new ECW is as fake as the WWE the old ECW was still staged but they gave their wrestler the freedom to show how hardcore they could be. They still took measures to make sure the damage inflicted was minimal but still sometimes the pain was real.

Why do male gymnasts wear a singlet?
men have very visible private parts so they can't wear what women wear anyway. And for leotards you want as much weight off of you as possible so you can move freely
Why usually women win in mixed wrestling?
on average they are more aggressive and have stronger leg and butt muscles
The slave masters would breed, yes breed, only the strongest black men and women so they would be more efficient on the fields. So that has been passed down from generation to generation so yea...

How do you get your friends to arm wrestle?
You just ask someone to.... and they'll do it. Eventully you will be a pro at it...then if you really like it you can go to arm wrestling school!!
No. They really know how to wrestle but it's all a show.
AnswerI know Im probably going to offend some people but HELL NO. It is staged for entertainment purposes only and unfortunately there are so many people with pent up anger and nothing better to do than watch people look like there beating the crap out of each other. Many Pro wrestlers have come out and stated its staged and if you watch very carefully you can see the way they orchestrate the moves to look real. Its not to say its not a honest living but it is to say it not honestly real. I grew up in the late 70's when the wrestlers were chief strongbolt and rowdy Rodney piper, the giant(rest his soul) and the hulk in his hey day. I unfortunately was 1 of 5 children and with only one tv in the central den at the time that was the Saturday night fever for my father and brothers (Im a girl) so no matter where you were in the house you heard the hoopla going on. Get the book written by Jim McMahon and other top names in wrestling and you can make the decision on your own. That's my story and Im sticking to it. enough said.it is real my cuz. is a refree for tna from expierence from him telling me and me being back with the fighters it is real

Wrestling can be traced back to cave drawings in France, but the pro wrestling that we see today is thought to have originated in the late 1800's. It is thought that the first pro wrestling shows were held at carnivals. Contributed by Punkrock Wrestling

What is better judo or wrestling?
Fighters that couldn't make it in boxing, go to the UFC. UFC fighters are way to slow for a boxer. A UFC fighter wouldn't be able to catch a boxer. Compare a 150 pound UFC fighter to Floyd Mayweather Jr. That wouldn't even be a fight. Floyd will kill him. Plus boxers go 12 rounds and in the UFC u only go 3 or sometimes 5. And boxers have more knockouts even with the gloves that they wear. There is barely any padding in a UFC glove, whereas there is a lot of padding in a boxers glove. You can't even compare the two. A boxer will dominate a UFC fighter.
that is the biggest load i have ever herd boxers only use there hands and they have sorter rounds no boxer would beat a ufc fighter i have done both boxing and ufc. ufc is so much more intesnce its cazy, boxers only have protect there head when a ufc fighter has to protect everything. i cant berlive that answer oh my god boxing is so soft and all they do is hug, ufc has way more knockouts. boxing is so boring now 1 tiny cut and its over its so soft. so everyone ufc is so much better then boxing.
the second answer is total trash , there are people who are like late 30s and early 40s in ufc, any old man who learns bjj or muay thai can be a ufc fighter. and boxers only have to protect their head u must be retarted, the body , and they hug because the y go 10-12 round while the max for ufc is ummmmmm..... 5. they got no stamina they only focus on power. boxers actually have to use skill timing an accuracy while in the ufc anybody can brawl and win, look at kimbo slice
Hahaha, all these answers are biased trash. Its all about preference, if you like to see athletes use only their hands then watch boxing, if you like variety give MMA(ufc is an organization not a sport) a try. Many people like both and in the end its what ever you find the most aesthetically pleasing. BTW, MMA rounds are 5 minutes as opposed to 3 minutes and are more grueling than boxing rounds wich contain no grappling or extensive clinch work. Boxers(including James Toney, butter bean, and art jimmerson) have attempted MMA and at the UFC level lost without landing a single punch, yet MMA competitors such as KJ Noons have extensive and successful professional boxing records. Freddie Roach has commended many mixed martial artists(such as BJ Penn, Anderson Silva, GSP) and stated that if they focused on it could easily be pro boxers. And because of the variety in MMA older fighters are able to compete because its not soley speed and reaction like boxing is, btw james toney held a title while over 40 so check your facts folks :). And if you think MMA fighters lack stamina you obviously do not watch the sport and have no right to make analyzations. P.S.-Kimbo Slice has a 4-2 record in MMA going 1-1 in the UFC, but has a perfect 5-0 pro boxing record
Which one is "better" is just a matter of preference. It's silly to argue one way or the other; the boxer would win in a boxing match, the MMA fighter would win in an MMA match. In fact, it's already been put to the test. Randy Couture took care of James Toney in short order in an MMA match. Likewise, in a boxing match, Ray Mercer destroyed Tim Sylvia in the same short order that Kimbo Slice dispatched Mercer in the octagon...and Slice wasn't even a world class MMA fighter.
If you're asking who would win in a street fight, the MMA fighter would have a sizeable advantage. It comes down to defense more than anything; an MMA fighter may not be as skilled as a boxer at defending against punches, but the boxer is going to have no idea how to defend himself against the arsenal the MMA fighter is going to throw at him.
What are the penalties in wrestling?
if one wrestler brakes someones arm in a normal match the other wrestler wins
It was a way of people to test themselves and test themselves against others. People are naturally competitive. It is also a way of rivals competing against each other in a fair and regulated way, rather than fighting. They play out their natural rivalries through sport rather than war. Over history all sorts of sports have evolved and now there are all sorts of sports around the world.
they might have him come "back from the dead" as for the story they are doing. personally i hope that's how they end up doing it because that would be pretty cool to watch
