you can't use points to buy xbox live membership. You have to buy them both seperately.

Microsoft will have a team of people looking after the xbox live servers. I can not say how many hours they actually put into the servers but they will probably be a 24 hour team.

The reason why is because you need internet access for Netflix. You cannot get internet without Xbox Live. This is why you cannot access Netflix without internet. Also the gold membership for Xbox is $50.00 for a year. You also need a wireless adapter to connect internet to your Xbox.

You need to press the round Xbox button in the middle of the controller, makesure any accounts are signed out, if an account is signed in press the X (blue) button to sign out.
