no they are not real. once you die you die unless you just died and you are in the hospital and they shocked you then you could come back to live but no zombies are not real. there is a virus though that causes people to become cannibals and they become insane.i have never seen a zombie before in my life and i dont think anyone will unless the virus suddenly starts and the plague covers the whole world which i dont know could happen but it could possbly not soon.

Actually, to be true, zombies were created by a virus. A virus is said to have entered our Earth somewhere in the 1800s. When people and animals die, they may by chance get infected by the virus and become a zombie.

Reported cases of "zombies" have come out of Haiti.

Reanimated corpses of the dead, however, are a thing of myth.

Various ways.

1. Aliens make them rise up, so they save themselves the trouble of having to fight us themselves.

2. A virus gets brought back from Venus, or maybe a weird radiation.

3. The U.S. Army leaves containers of toxic zombie creating waste near high schools, usually in a building that is just perfect for underage drinking and teen highjinks.

4. A very amoral company called The Umbrella Corporation accidentally releases a virus, which in spite of blowing up Raccoon City is not contained.

5. Animal Rights fools let rage-infected animals out to bite us.

Typically, zombies are stopped by destroying the brain or cutting off their head. Fire can also be effective in stopping a zombie by completely burning the body. It's important to remember that zombies are fictional creatures, and different stories may have varying rules for how they can be stopped.

Undead zombies are very different as there are no rules. Burning with fire or dissolving with concentrated acid will destroy any biological creature. Undead zombies must be motivated in some way and this will provide the ideas to kill them. For example, if the brain is still working then removing the head, destroying the brain or cutting the spinal column with also work.

The biggest flaw is the assumption that they would only attack humans. Zombies, like any hypothetical people infected with a "rage" virus, would attack each other, too. There is no reason to attack solely humans, and certainly no credible way to tell the difference between human and zombie, or infected and uninfected.

I shouldn't think so. But here are someother interesting facts: Your "traditional" zombies (rotting and limping cos of rigor mortis) shouldn't be able to climb stairs due to rigor mortis and eventually they should just rot away and fall apart be themselves if you leave them for long enough.
