Also, Russia would have not have entered the War to protect it's Slavic bretheren, and the outcome and Victors of WWI could have been the central powers, since Russia (being a VERY powerful military force) would have not been there to help the Allied powers fight the Central Powers. And only God knows what the world would be like today if that happened

Itwas afraid that Serbia would become too powerful and encouraged Slavs in its empire to fight for independence so it annezed the Bosnian- Herzegovina where the population were mostly Slavs to prevent Serbia from occupying these two places. Germany asked Russia not to back Serbia. In order to avoid war. both Serbia and Russia backed down and allowed Austria- ungary to annex Bosnian- Herzegovina.
