It depends on which country you want to know about. For instance New Zealand gave women the vote in 1893, Finland in 1906, the Netherlands and the Soviet Union in 1917, Great Britain in 1918, Germany in 1919 and the US via the Nineteenth Amendment to the Constitution in 1920.
In four western states, women had the right to vote in local elections before the 19th century ended.
Voting rights for all female citizens of voting age in all elections in the United States, federal and local, was provided by the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which was ratified in the summer of 1920. The Presidential election of November 1920 was therefore the first occasion on which women in all states were able to vote.
1918
sorry its 1920 to be exact August 26 I agree with Gnrfan
1928 (all women over 21). When the voting age was reduced to 18 in 1969 women were of course included
august 26 1920
Vote for the president
Women didn't have the right to vote until 1920 and the passage of the 19 amendment, so no woman could vote in the 1860's.
Women could not vote or own property
Mainly rich planters and lawyers, business owners. They were the only ones who could vote. Men who didn't own land couldn't vote, women couldn't vote, and slaves couldn't vote.
Yup! The 19th Amendment stated that you cannot deny any sex to vote. Hence, both women and men could vote. Due to the 15th Amendment, you cannot deny a person to vote due to race, so now all citizens of the United States were eligible to vote after the 19th Amendment.

Only the men that were rich could vote, women could not vote.
Women could not vote in the 1800s
In 1910 women could vote local and in 1913 they had the same vote as men
yes both men and women could vote.
NO. American women did not get the vote until the 1920's.
no
not women haha :)
Suffragettes alone weren't allowed to vote, all women could not vote. Suffragettes were only women who were protesting the lack of the right to vote.
The law didn't allow them to vote. At one time only landowners could vote and women were not allowed to own land. It all changed after World War 1
In 1920 in the US the passage of the 19th amendment was passed giving women the right to vote.
August 26, 1920 is exactly when the Nineteenth Amendment was accepted and women could finally vote in fall elections.
