Your need to call your vet ASAP and let him know what is going on with the dog, she should not be shaking six hours after delivering. There are several things that could be causing her to shake or shiver. She could have a high fever or have developed a uterine infection. There is also the possibilty that she still has another puppy, that for some reason, she wasn't able to deliver, or she may not have expelled the afterbirth yet. She could also be bleeding, or possibly in shock. Check to see if her gums are pink or blue; if they are blue, then she is not getting enough oxygen and needs vet care immediately. But in any of these possibilities, you need to talk to your vet immediately.
When my rabbit was pregnant, we didn't even know that she was pregnant. When we found out she had given birth, which was some minutes after she gave birth, she was in the middle of constructing her nest. So my guess is, they build their nests a little while before or immediately after giving birth.
It is not normal for a dog to be still panting over 24 hours after birth. Something may be seriously wrong with her if she ate 11 puppies. Her temperature is actually quite normal, since 38.05 C is the same as 100.5 F, well within the range of normal for a dog. She could have a temperature of up to 102.5 F, or about 39.2 C, and still be normal. However, because she ate all the puppies and because she is still panting, she should be seen by a veterinarian immediately, to determine if she has a serious problem.
A shaking cat should be checked by a vet. Shaking like this could range from seizers, nerve damage from being hit by a car, hypothermia from being out in the elements, rabies can cause shaking as it attacks the nervous system, or even distemper.
I think you already know that it's not normal and could be a sign of a bigger problem. Please get the dog to a veterinarian as soon as you possibly can. She could have pyometra (uterine infection) or might have a puppy stuck and rotting. She may have ripped internally when giving birth. Any number of things could be wrong, and some are serious.
There is normally no more than half an hour between each puppy. Quite often less than this. WIth a mother normally never giving birth to more than 12 puppies, so six hours or so would be the maximum time but in most cases it would be quicker than this.
yes, otherwise the male will impregnate the female within hours of her giving birth.
It may bleed for up to 12 hours after giving birth, but any more after that you should see a vet to make sure it is not something serious.
she died a couple hours after giving birth to naruto
It should take approximately 24 hours in total.
Ferret parturition or the process of giving birth is usually rapid, with all kits delivered within 2 to 3 hours.
papiyaa with pork legs. this will give you plenty of milks for you and your baby..
Not really. Your pulse and respirations come back to normal very quickly. Your blood pressure could go up during delivery and may take a few hours to return to normal. Note: Moms suffering from Toxemia will be carefully monitored.
It should only be a matter of a couple hours.
Yes. Usually it will all be done soon, so you can recover.
That depends on what you mean by "shaking". Different parts of Earth are 'shaking' all the time, and this is normal and expected. If you mean the entire planet, rapidly oscillating between two opposite directions, no, there is nothing that could possibly cause this.
It should be not too long after, and if it is a day or longer you may want to take your cat to your vet. With certain cats, a few hours is normal, whereas with others, it is nearly a day.
The doe will take about 1-3 hours to give birth to all of her kittens. They are usually born during the night when it is quiet.
