I also have a 1996 Pontiac Bonneville (se 3.8 liter engine). It also stalls often, although I have not completely fixed it. All I can do is offer what I have done (tried to do) to repair my problem and compare it to what you've done to yours. I had multiple mechanics look at my car , and offer their advice, they all seem stumped and guess which is costly, and spent about 1500.00 on this problem and some others that could be "potential" problems. (lol, you know mechanics). I have had my complete positive and negative terminals replaced, which they were worn and cracked, but the voltage never fluctuated while driving , it would just konk out. I replaced the throttle position sensor (just on a hunch). The MASS Air flow sensor , to no avail. I had at sometime ago replaced the plennum, right after this is when my problem seemed to get noticeable. I replaced another sensor on the left of all the intake, I'm sorry at the moment I cannot seem to put my finger on the name. maybe crank shaft sensor? But since my car seemed to be running lean and that is the main cause for my problem, the sensor that seemed to make the most difference and also has stopped it from stalling by 80% is the Idle Air Control valve. the new o-ring that comes with it should fit snug if not it seems to suck more air. I still have not brought this car to the non-stalling car i have always dreamed about, but it's now really close . I really hope this information helps you as much as it has helped me. I would be really interested to know what you've done to fix the problem so far. I have heard people go so far as replacing the computer in them, and then it not helping.

Disconnect positive side of battery for at least 5 minutes, worked for my 2002 Pontiac Bonneville. Dealer wanted $50.00 can you say rip-off!
Reset with an OBD2 scan tool, after the repair of whatever triggered the light.
I had this problem on a 94 Bonneville after we had fixed the brakes. After I disconnected the battery and reconnected the light went off and the dinging stopped. Not sure if this was related or just coincidence.
The 2003 Pontiac Bonneville has a gas tank capacity of 18.3 gallons. The low fuel warning light will come on when the gas tank level gets down to 2.3 gallons.
remove battery cable for 1 min
just check the cars manual.. normally in the glove box.
