Vw uses a linkage system that has small bushings and plastic tie-rods that wear over a period of time. These are situated just on top of the tranny in a linkage unit. They can be dismantled and replace. Also the base of the gear lever has a replaceable bushing. If these are okay and you have a noise when reversing, your shaft bearings are At Fault and would require a tranny job!

Why would the fuses keep blowing on a 3 year old Ford?

I ANSWERED MY OWN QUESTION!!!! AFTER 3 TRIPS TO THE GARAGE, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE WIRES BETWEEN THE REVERSE LIGHTS WERE BEING PINCHED BY A KINK IN THE LOOM WHERE IT PASSED THROUGH THE BULKHEAD. THIS WAS A PROBLEM CAUSED IN MANUFACTURE - HOPE THIS MAY HELP OTHERS!! P.S - AS THE REVERSE LIGHT AND INDICATORS WERE ON THE SAME CIRCUIT, THIS WAS CAUSING THE INDICATORS TO FUSE, POST-REVERSING!! get a job

As long as you're a good enough driver and the garage is roomy enough - No. You'll get a little bit more of exhaust fumes in there, but not really enough to matter.

Yes, the carbon monoxide in the exhaust can build up and poison anyone in a closed garage where the car is running. Never a good thing to do.

Can your neighbor build a new garage using your wall which falls on the boundary?

Normally, there are laws regarding easement requirements. If a person applies for a permit to build a new garage, the inspector will know the answer to your question based upon the laws where you live. As far as structure and stability goes, if you have a roof on your garage, there wouldn't be any way your neighbor could "use" your wall to support their garage, without modifying your garage, which is most likely against the law.

Why will 2004 Volkswagen beetle not go in reverse?

Either because the linkage is broken or the gear inside the transmission is broken. Have a garage check it out and see what they can find.
