Well you will have to determine why it is leaking. It is just a loose fitting? try tightening it up with a wrench Is there a crack? Is the pipe white PVC (plastic) or copper or even gray metal? If it is any of these you will need to cut it out and replace that section. You might want to consider hiring a plumber.
if it is a slow drip or sepage, it will make, @ particles in the water will fix it, if it is a steady drip then you will have to take it apart and wrap the pipe fitting with teflon tape, or use a pipe sealer on the threads,
The refrigerator motor is a sealed unit and can not be opened. If the unit is not cooling it might be low on gas, a refrigerator technician has the equipment to test to see if it is low on gas and he will be able to recharge the system.
I think you are asking how do you fix or replace one breaker on a double pole breaker? Most if not all double breakers have a connector on the switch so that they both trip at the same time. They are also joined together in the body of the breaker. You have to change both of them. If that's not your question, please explain further.
This condition is caused by "water hammer". It's water pressure fluxuations caused by turning faucet on & off. To fix the problem, attach (solder?) a length of pipe, as long as possible, but 16-18 inches should suffice, with a cap on the end, installed vertically, with a tee joint, behind the faucet. Anywhere in the feed pipe near the faucet is OK, but the closer the better. When water is brought back up to poressure, a air shock absorber is created, and will solve your water hammer problem.
Brake it down
pvc flange if glued properly can not be detached you just need to cut it and fix up a new one if the old flange is useless. www.pvcpipe.in
The same as any other PVC drain. Trailers have a plastic or fabric covering underneath. Cut this at the drain and repair the pipe. Duct tape the cut in the fabric or staple a section of cheap blue tarp over that section.
PVC is good stuff, but it can get build up depending on what you pour in it.AnswerReally, it is less about the design of the pipe and less about the material. The drop of the pipe before the elbow can make a difference in flow. It seems like unclogging the pipe would do the trick. If the problem comes back again, then reconsider replacement and redesign of the situation.
First isolate the area that needs repair and drain it. If it is only a hole in a PVC water pipe Get a piece of pipe the same size and cut it in half along the length. Clean both the pool pipe with the hole in it and the new piece of pipe with primer then put PVC solvent cement on both the patch and the pipe and hold it firmly in place until the solvent cement has set, To save you having to hold it in place you can get one or two hose clamps to do the job for you. If a large section of pipe needs replacement, cut out the damaged pipe and replace with similar pipe and connectors.
You don't fix it, you replace it.
look along the valve covers on the heads, there should be a small pipe that when pulled seems to go no where, that should be the PVC, it is a simple fix
Yes, it pretty much falls into anything that is caused by the tenant, it is there responsibility whether purposely or accidentally. It might be better for you to have someone fix it then for the landlord to have someone fix it. Because they could get someone that might charge a lot more then what maybe you could charge. I assume this is a finished basement, because this is the only place that a PVC pipe should be exposed. This is very easy to repair, the section is cut out and replaced with a new piece of pipe, very simple.
It is very easy to work with PVC piping. You may have to make a trip to a hardware store if you have a broken pipe, buy the right size pipe, elbow and/or the right fitings you need. Try a cheap approach first and make sure that the fittings of the pipe are correctly tighten, worn threads or loose fittings will leak. Do not use any tools! You should tight the fittings with your bear hands. If you still have a leak, maybe you have a broken pipe and need to replace it. PVC piping is inexpensive and you can find the right size at any hardware store. If you are unsure about how to work with PVC, do a web search or buy a homeowner's plumbing howto book. I wish you the best!
You pretty much have to open up the wall. If you had access to the ends above and below the wall I suppose you could cut the pipe and put a 3 inch pvc inside of it if there were no branches in the pipe, but that isn't likely. There just isn't any way of fixing it without opening the wall.
you just clickt he fix button
Cut the pipe and remove it, fix pipe with a coupling.
