If you are on Birth Control you can have spotting for that long. That happens. But either way talk to your doctor.. im only 20 but I had a heavy period every single day for over 11 months and the doctors couldn't figure it out so i had to finally get a d & c. so make sure you talk to a doctor cause that's not fun to go through.

No not normal. You have to see your doctor because it will probably not stop on it's own now. I had the same problem years ago and I had it for 3 months and I had to get shots to stop and start it for several months. Bleeding that much can lead to other more severe problems. Please believe me, it won't stop on it's own, you need to get treatment.

that happend to me i had my period for almost 3 months. i went to the doctor and the gave me a low dosage of birth control

Is it normal to miss your menstrual for over 6 months?

Depending on your age, you could be experiencing menopause or you could be pregnant, but you should already notice if you're pregnant. Consult a doctor if none of these are the case.

You already have a kid she is 6 months old you are not back into your menstrual cycle what could it be?

Not being back on your normal menstrual cycle six months after having a child is normal. It usually takes a year or so for a female's body to get back into a regular cycle after childbirth. It also depends on if the mother is nursing her child. This also delays the body's cycle, and could continue to delay a woman's period for as long as she breastfeeds on demand.

What if your menstrual cycle ceases longer than 3 months?

If you're not menstruating then it could be a sign of an underlying health problem that is stopping you from ovulating on a regular basis. If you go longer than three months without menstruating then you should see your doctor.

Bright red and clotty period what could this mean why so bright and clotty?

If menstrual bleeding and clotting is different from normal for several months it may be a good idea to bring this to the attention of your doctor. This is normal in small amounts but an ongoing situation may need further treatment.

Peeing a lot after coming off the pill?

I have the same problem! & Am two weeks late on my period, but the doctor says all this is normal and could last up to three months! Which means, three months of no period! :)

How long is it normal for your period to be late?

It's generally not normal for your period to be late - typically your menstrual cycles will follow a pattern and it's normal for there to be around a weeks variation from your average menstrual cycle. If your period is later than predicted how long it is delayed depends on why it is late, if you are sexually active you may want to take a pregnancy test to confirm whether you could be pregnant or not, otherwise it's not a concern until you've gone three months without menstruating.

My period has not come in 2 months and the doctor said that I'm not pregnant but could I be?

It depends when you started having your menstrual cycles because in the first couple of months it is hard to find a regular pattern, if not it could be stress.

Is it normal for a teenage girl to stop her period for a couple months and not be pregnant?

No. If there is no chance of pregnancy, then it could be a sign of a problem involving hormones, weight, or stress levels and should be checked out by a doctor.

Is it normal not to have my period since giving birth to my daughter three months ago?

Breast feeding is a natural inhibitor of fertility, so if you're breast feeding you will be highly unlikely to have periods. Non-breast feeding mothers could expect to return to a fairly normal menstrual cycle about 10 weeks after giving birth but this can vary.

Is it normal for women not having menstruation for 2-3 months?

Well, it depends. If you have recently gotten your first period ever, than it's perfectly normal for it to be irregular for around two years before having a normal cycle. It's also normal for it to not be irregular when you first get it. The only reason you should not have it for two months could be a chance of pregnancy. I would suggest going to a doctor to get a check up.
