One member of the Antigua and Barbuda men's volleyball team that travelled to Trinidad for a tournament was tested for the H1N1 flu virus. One Friday 19th June 2009 the test reslut came back positive making it the first reported case of Swine Flu on the island.

No, there has not been a confirmed case of Swine Flu in Puerto Rico as of May 4, 2009. But, there is a case of a five year old that has been tested, is in the Hospital doing well, but the tests have not arrived from the CDC in Atlanta. The five year old did test positive for Type A Influenza, which created concern, thus putting her in isolation until test results arrive. As of June 15, 2009, there has been reports of the swine flu; there has been only 4 deaths in the western side of Puerto Rico.

It is not confirmed that swine flu has hit Guam, but there are rumors that two cases arrived on Guam from Japan, but they are both in quarantine at the Guam International Airport. Guam is on high alert, due to cases in Hawaii, and there are direct flights from Hawaii daily
