yes
The 1996-2006 Chevy Venture has a 3.4L V6 engine and requires 6 spark plugs.
3.4
it has a timing chain
Yes. But if you're going through all the trouble, why settle for a 3100 SFI when you can swap in a 3400 SFI? Fits like a glove! Go to 60degreev6.com for more info.
I had to remove the air intake to get to it.Easy then.
what are the torque specs on a 3.4 s.f.i
It should bolt right in as the 3.4 is the same block as the 3.1 and as long as you have the wiring harness and computer your all set.
If the engine is 3.8L SFI OHV the Knock sensor is located under hood, passenger side, front engine area, below exhaust manifold, mounted in engine block
sequential fuel injection
Any 96, 97, 98, or 99 3400 SFI engine will fit. This includes from a 99 Grand Am or Alero or other GM vehicle that uses the 3400. The 2000 and newer versions are not a direct fit; I believe because of sensor differences.
