Dont take the cheap way out, blocks are bad as they cause axle wrap. Axle wrap happens when you apply tork to the wheels and the leaf springs want to bend in a s shape which causes lose of traction and broken axles. If you dont want to buy new leaf springs you should buy some droped hangers and shakles. Also you will need to get a longer drive shaft and a SYE transfer case kit or you will brake your U-juints in your drive shafts. This happened to my Jeep w/4'' lift kit with my' transfer case lowered 1''. Good luck!
You can use blocks on a old spring. You will also need new U bolts, longer brake lines, shocks and alot more .You will have to shim the axle so that your pinion angle will be correct. If not you will blow u-joints.Axle warp is a big problem with 5 inch blocks and more binding on u-joints. The best thing to do is buy a complete truck lift its cheaper faster and safer.

Doubt it. Its Georgia. if its going to snow, it will be a drizzle. Not the Colorado one-foot-and-an-inch snow
Poured concrete has an R value of about 0.08/inch. Fiberglass batt has an R value of about 3.14/inch (blown fiberglass wall insulation is about 3.2/inch). From these values we can calculate that the equivalent insulating thickness of concrete would be about 3.5x3.14/0.08 = 137.4 inches. Note that concrete blocks have a somewhat better insulating value due to the incorporated air pockets. A 4" concrete block has an R value of about 0.2/inch An 8" concrete block has an R value of about 0.15/inch A 12" concrete block has an R value of about 0.1/inch

.187 of an inch is 187/1000 of an inch.
On most newer vehicles t is done with a scan tool.
NO
I think perhaps 2250 blocks .
You need 8 cubic blocks of sides 0.5 inches to make a 1 inch block.
There are a few really cheap weighs to drop one. The first is to cut the springs in the front and pull some leafs out of the back(free option). The next is to cut the springs in the front and put blocks in the back(up to four inch drop in back about $50). Then you could do it the right way and buy drop spindles for the front and blocks or leafs for the back.
Six and one-half blocks.
there are different types of lift kits, body lift, which are spacers between body where body is attached to frame (chassis). there are also suspension lifts this is when springs are replaced with taller bigger springs (coil) or blocks or spacers are installed under leaf springs ex a 3 inch block will raise truck height 3 inches.its more then just adding height you are changing the geometry of steering shaft angle, also stabilizer mods and shock mods are recommended also bigger wheels and tires increase your stopping distance tenfold big wheels need bigger brake system. also suspension lifts are murder on your drive shaft and universal joints. it all depends what yourheight desires are what truck, anything between2 to3 no big deal/ you want a monster you are goin 2 pay to have a safe truck
64 of them.
The number of concrete blocks in a cube depends on the size and style of the blocks. For 6-inch by 4-inch by 16-inch blocks, there are generally either 100 or 120 per cube. For blocks that are 8 inches by 8 inches by 16 inches, there are usually either 75 or 90 per cube.

No you need coil spring spacers or to replace them with heavy duty springs from a truck you will also needhub spacers so it will not rub
