They tend to be tame. Having had two of them, one was very submissive and the other was more rambunctious -- for a golden. They are smart, love to play, great for families, full of fun and loyal.
That's a good mix, and because there is many breeds in there, and s/he is far from a pure bred, this means that they would probably live up until 14-15 years old.
it sounds like a lovely mix. :)
For SURE! Jack russels are known for being hyper and active. They love to walk but always be prepared with a leash, doggy bags, water, and maybe a few treats.
Jakcs being hyper and active isn't the truth all the time though because i own a jack who is fat and lazy. even though when he gets out HE RUNS AND RUNS!!
The main problem is when a dog chews on a chicken bone is that the fragments will splinter in their throat. It is better that they swallow it whole, most Labradors are capable of passing it through their digestive system with minimal difficulty. In rare cases it will cause a blockage.
Above all else, try to keep things like chicken bones, grapes, chocolate, avocado, etc away from you Lab.
Labradors can have any number of pups between 2 and 13.
but mostly! 3
Labradors have webbed paws which allows them to swim and otter tail to make them change directions. They swim very fast and hard.
WARNING! If your Lab's nails are not yet trimmed be careful to swim near him, my Lab is 7months old, the vet said we cannot trim his nail because he's too young and it can be a big pain to Labs, so be careful, avoid scratches from your dogs nails. I have tried that and it hurts.
Like humans, dogs cannot see in truly dark conditions, but dogs' eyesight is better at night with minimal light from the moon, stars, or human lighting. They also detect motion much better in general, whereas humans detect color much better, so at night humans are at a disadvantage for color detection but dogs can still see motion easily.
The Labrador Retriever is a pedigree breed of dog recognized by many reputable kennel clubs.
They have two layers beacuse they need to stay warm in the cold
Regardless of color the average Labrador will weigh 16 lbs at 8 weeks of age and gain 2.5 to 3 lbs per week until age of 27 weeks when the growing slows. Genetics dictate the exact weight and size of the full grown dog. Some males will weigh as little as 65lbs and others will exceed 100 lbs. The average full grown male Labrador will weigh 75-80 lbs
Technically, all dogs can be good agility dogs, it just requires training. Since dalmations are big and not square-body shaped, they should be pretty good, even though you dont usually see them on TV running courses.
Wiemeramer great playful dog perfect combo for a lab.
Just a few ideas:
Ace, Bandit, Buster, Butch, Coal, Vader, Midnight, Pitch, Jake, Major, Rex, Roco, Sam, Tango, Tank, Zoro.
Hope this helps!
She is getting older, and her face is beginning to turn gray. The fur around the eyes in Labs and Goldens is often the first to lighten with age. This could happen even in a dog as young as three or four. Some retrievers have a completely white face by age eight.
Yellow labs are not afraid of water they love water!!!
i have a black lab mix [great dane] and he is almost 13 well it kind of depends on how you treat your dog you need to give it alot of care.
This really depends on alot of things. First, it depends on how well bred your dog is. If you got your Black Lab from a breeder than you can look at the mother and father and guess how big it will get. But, if your dog came from the pound (or rescue or humane society, etc....) as a puppy there is really no way to tell except, you can look at there paws. If the paws are big it is going to be a godd sized dog but if the paws are little than it is not going to get that big. Also, it depends on what your dog is fed and how it is kept.
Yes you can. Just lessen the amount. I fed my 2 month old labrador then (now she's 6 months) with Cerelac Chicken and Vegetable flavor. I just put 1 small scoop in her food bowl and a 1/4 cup of water. She was so crazy about it! It only served as a food supplement to her daily diet. She eats a good quality dry dog food though. Your pup will benefit a lot. Mine now is so healthy, big in size, in perfect weight, zero visit to the vet and am looking forward for a maximum growth he could possibly attain. Labradors are still puppies until 1 year. Mature Labradors starts at 18 months actually.
Collies are wonderful dogs, they have fantastic personalities too. They are sweet, loyal and intelligent. They are from Europe and we can guess the origin was around Scotland. They are usually around 1 1/2 feet to 2 feet. They can weigh anywhere from 50 to 80 pounds and there life span is around 14-15 years. They are generally very easy to train (potty train included) and are very friendly too. they are also great family dogs, they are good with kids and other dogs and need moderate to low exercise. They can live in small apartments with daily exercise. They are almost always friendly towards strangers and are very good in cool weather. In hot weather they can get very hot because of there thick double coat. The thick double coat helps keep the dander in so they are more hyper-allergenic then some other dos. The brushing and general grooming is not the easiest but it is a great time to bond with your dog.
I would recommend to everyone to get a rough collie, they are the best animals, let alone dog, EVER!!!!!!!
A female dogs name is a Bitch.
A male dog is just called a dog, unless you are using him for breeding; in which case he will show as the 'Sire' on the pedigree. A female dog is called a bitch, if using her for breeding, she will show as the 'Dam' on the pedigree.
