To become a dentist in US foreign dentists require following criteria
pass NBDE part 1 > 85 percentile; the higher the better
TOEFL above 90 on IBT ;again the higher the better
Foreign dental school GPA above 3.0
apply to dental schools having advanced standing program (2-3 yrs)
get admission
the most difficult part if you succeed to get admission is to secure private loan if you are a foreign national
you need us citizen or permanent resident with 2 yr employment plus 2 yr credit history and min. income of $18000 per yr as a cosigner
if your loan is approved then you can study, complete the dds/dmd course and get a job as a dentist
you have upto 25 yrs to repay your education loan($150000-$300000 total cost of education depending on how expensive the dds/dmd program is)
this is all that i know till now
hope it helps
Probably not. Medical standards differ all over the word. The dentist would need all the necessary schooling for USA standards and be licensed by the state in which the dentist wants to practice. Contact the dental association for the state in question.
The dentist from Mexico must secure a license within the United States to practice within the United states.
My mom is a dentist in Japan and she wants to practice her dentistry here in the USA but her license cannot be transferred. Is there anyway without going to school again in USA?
you have to be Mexican
I can't recommend a dentist in that area but have been using a dentist in Progreso for a couple of years and am quite happy with the care I have recieved.....and any US dentist is going to kick a fit when you say mexico....the US dentists are losing billions of dollars because of the cheaper prices in Mexico. All of my bad dental experiences have been in the US...not in Mexico. The only thing I will say about using a Mexican Dentist is to get your price agreed upon first
No, but you will need a passport to get back into the US.
Based on the hospital, a chiropractor may or may not practice in the UK.
Apply to, attend, and graduate from an American Dental Association accredited dental school. Pass Part I and II of the National Board Dental Exam. Pass a licensure examination. In a nutshell, your training in Mexico doesn't count for jack in the States. You have to start over pretty much from the beginning. == Alternatively, continue to practice in a border town in Mexico. US citizens will come over and use your services because you will be able to charge less. My dentist lives in Rio Rico, AZ and travels to Nogales, Mexico when he has appointments.

You can certainly call yourself a doctor. However there are different rules for different places. To practice you must have the relevant certification
First, they probably don't have a US license to practice in the USA. Second, why should they? They probably live the same standard of living in Mexico charging Mexican prices as US dentists in the USA have, and they don't have all of the bureaucratic b.s. to deal with.
Licensure and certification. All States, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories license physicians. To be licensed, physicians must graduate from an accredited medical school, pass a licensing examination, and complete 1 to 7 years of graduate medical education. Although physicians licensed in one State usually can get a license to practice in another without further examination, some States limit reciprocity. Graduates of foreign medical schools generally can qualify for licensure after passing an examination and completing a U.S. residency.
The US does not have "licensed abortionist". It does have licensed physicians who perform legal abortions.
It depends on what you're looking for. For example a set of dental implants cost US$500 for a set of porcelain teeth
An attorney must be licensed by the state (where the legal work will be performed) in order to practice law in the United States.
