If you are the current owner of the motorcycle, you can go the DMV for this information. The DMV keep records of who vehicles have been registered to.

Lost car title and has not been registered in your name yet?

I just pad off my car in March of 2008 and now I need the title for a secured loan I'm looking to take but I can't seem to find the title (lost or stolen) and I never registered it to my name. What can I do? i bought a bike, the owner(previous) cant be located, and the title has not been registered in my name yet with the state. What do i do?

Can you return a new motorcycle if it has not been registered yet?

How is it not registered? The dealership will typically handle that along with title if it's a street bike. If it's an off road bike the they will give you a MCO or MSO and most states will not require a title or registration. Long answer for me to say contact the dealership but they have no legal reason to take the bike back.

Can you register a car without a title that has never been registered?

you cannot do such a thing. <><><> You will need to contact the motor vehicle dept in YOUR state, and apply for a title to the vehicle- and THEN see about registering the car.

How do you obtain a lost title for a motorcycle that has never been registered and a friend that had the motorcycle has'nt contacted you in over 2 years?

Without that clear title, you can do little to register the bike ... wondering why the 2 year wait to discover this situation though ... Assuming you bought the bike, you would then have a "bill of sale" (always good business to do this, even amongst friends) which of course has the motorcycle VIN number on it ... possibly take that to your MVD and ask what procedure has to be done in order to register it now, then do those procedures. That is the only way ...

You have recently purchased a motorcycle and have the title but when you enter the VIN number nothing comes upwhat can you do?

If the VIN is not showing any information, you may want to double-check it for accuracy, as even a small typo can lead to incorrect results. If the issue persists, you can contact the manufacturer or a local dealership to verify the VIN and obtain more information about the motorcycle.

How do you apply for a car title that has been lost and received from your sister who bought it but never registered it in her name and now wants to give it to you for payment for some work you did fo?

Since your sister never registered the vehicle to her name, she will have to contact the previous owner and ask him/her to apply for a duplicate title at your local tax assessor/vehicle registration office. Information required will be the vehicle make and model, the VIN, and the previous owner in whose name the vehicle was last registered. Other info may be needed.

Is President Obama a registered socialist?

No, he is not and never has been. He is a registered Democrat. There is only one registered Socialist in Congress at this time: Vermont senator Bernie Sanders.

Is it possible for a motorcycle to never have had a title?

I'ts not only possible, but in the case of non-street-legal bikes, it might even be the norm. Most people don't bother registering or converting the certificate of origin for a non-street bike, so a title is never generated. There was a C of O for it when new, but it is more than likely lost. For a street legal bike, there would have to have been a title applied for at the least if they got plates for it.

You bought a car but the guy you bought it from does not have the title how do you get your title?

Lost Vehicle TitleGenerally you can apply for a lost title through your state Department of Motor Vehciels or Department of Licensing. It may make it easier if the previous owner goes with you (assuming he is the registered owner). States normally require that a previous owner notify them that a vehicle has been sold. In addition: You will have to submit an application for a lost title/damaged title. I believe only the registered owner of the vehicle from when it was title originally can obtain a replacement. In Ca the lost/not received/transfer form is available at DMV thiis is used for sale on auto where seller still has the title and never transfereed to themselves yet so has no "title" so you include additional title (form is a blank need to fill out all info on vehicle , seller, and buyer turn in with the other title(the one your seller never turned in for themselves, or you can use the lost/not received/transfer form if the other has been lost
