By fixing what is causing it to be on. Check brake fluid level first. Hmmm. It wouldn't be because you like to drive with the parking brake pulled up one click in order to keep the daytime running lights off, would it? If you leave it on long enough it'll burn out on it's own like mine did.

If the " BRAKE " warning light comes on in your dash either the BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IS LOW in the brake fluid reservoir located in the engine compartment of your 1995 Ford Mustang or the parking / emergency brake is engaged
The brake light in the dash comes on if the parking brake is engaged or the brake fluid level is low in the brake master cylinder in the engine compartment

Basically fix the problem with the brakes, check to see that the fluid is full and if it is you need to get the complete brake system checked out.
