The serpentine belt tensioner is held in place by a 15mm nut that is accessible form underneath. You need a 2 foot long extension and a swivel socket to access it underneath the alternator.
Alternately, it can be reached from the top with a 15mm box wrench.
1) Remove the negative battery cable
2) remove the bracket that goes from under an exhaust manifold nut at the back of the engine to the Power Steering pump bracket. This is needed to remove the lower alternator bolt. (both 15mm)
3) remove the two bolts holding the alternator in place and move the alternator to the passenger side(no need to disconnect wires).
4) At this point you can see the nut on the back of the tensioner.
